What research chemicals are closest to DMT?

I cant really find dmt I am looking to know which research chemicals are the closest in your opinion as far as blasting off and seeing just rediculous patterns and space travel?

I have already tried several tryptamines and phenaltheylmeens(sic) and I like them but I want that cosmic just REDICULOUS open and closed eye visuals.

its very very rare that I come by dmt so what research chemicals are there that are similar. And when you list which ones are similar, list why. Are they similar in duration? are they similar in the strength?

are there any that might just require higher dose but can get you near the same level or on the same strength just a slightly different deal but just as colorful and visual?

Well a smokeable DMT like burst of an experience would be 5-meo-dmt. However its not especially visual.

2C-E probably has the best ratio of side effects/visuals of any RC. Maybe 25I-nbome.
 
I was thinking DPT but apparantly that is illegal? damn i need some dmt.. what can i do.

2c-e is nothing like what im looking for, i prefer 2c-i which is great but nothing like the visuals
 
5-MeO-DMT is not a RC nor is it especially visual.

I'd say DPT. Either injected or smoked.

I haven't tried it but NBOMe's in freebase form should produce a quite intense experience.
 
all of those are already illegal. are there any non illegal compounds that are like dmt or is anything similar banned?

I dont know where to find any of those
 
AFAIK, there really isn't an RC that is very similar to DMT. Maybe MET? But I haven't seen that one recently.
 
When you're asking what's legal, you need to also tell us where you are so we know what country's laws you're talking about ;)
 
Intravenous 4-AcO-DMT or smoked/IV'd MET have both been compared in reports to smoked DMT in effects (no personal experience). DPT has been compared to it by this route in terms of sheer intensity but not necessarily quality (by quality I just mean "difference," not better or worse). Of course, 4-AcO and MET aren't qualitatively the same as DMT either, but when used by a route with an extremely fast onset the descriptions sound similar. I've used 4-AcO-DMT with harmala and felt ayahuasca like effects, and so I'd personally look to 4-AcO intravenously as my first DMT substitute choice.

EDIT: If you can't find DMT extract it via one of the many easily found TEKs. It's easy kitchen chemistry.
 
We don't allowed "what did I/what should I take?" threads here.

Normally I'd leave this open and just edit it so it could remain as discussion of which psychedelics are similar to DMT, but firstly the answers you'll get are very varied and won't help you much. In reality, almost any psychedelic can produce profound visuals and breakthroughs similar to DMT, but due to most having quite a long duration, taking such a dose would leave you incapacitated for up to 10 or more hours, something that isn't usually desirable.

Secondly, you said you're after visuals, and we have a Most Visual Psychedelic Thread already with plenty of answers :D

Feel free to start a thread discussion which tryptamines allow you to "breakthrough", but as for visuals, profundity and potency - we have threads that cover those already, and this is just a "What should I take?" thread right now.
