What Really Pisses You Off?

I read in news today that australia is planning on having closer ties to the US in regards to military now this shits me up the wall, if anything we should be backing off from the country that staged a terrorist attack on it's own people all to start a war :(

Grrr.

There's no really substantive evidence any which way regarding 9/11 and implying so is foolish. In enough time all those documents will be declassified and we can all have a laugh about it then.

Internet conspiracy theorists piss me off.

It's not like there's not evidence of the American government and particularly the CIA running blatantly cuntworthy operations around the world in the past (particularly in poor old South America). Regarding 9/11 however, about the most you could pin on anyone is Osama's CIA training in the 80s (and the way Russia was treating the Afghani people I can't even say I am entrirely against that). This doesn't mean the American government was behind 9/11 or was aware of it and let it happen in any way.

So let's all just wait and see what comes out before donning our tin foil hats. Give it a decade or two.

It also is counterintuitive because it makes the entire left look like a bunch of nutjobs, and works against the efforts of people like Chomsky, and William Blum who work very hard at trawling through documents in an effort to try and expose the truth, because it makes them look like fringe lunatics by association.

Lol *tightens tin foil hat* :)

Regardless of weather or not America was behind 9/11 I still think Australia strengthening it's military bond with the U.S. is a terrible thing to do, and what say does the Australian citizens get in this... None.

If there is another great war I can't help but feel we are backing the wrong horse.

In terms of military might I'd say we're backing the right horse. But nukes pretty much level the playing field and we're all in a lot of trouble if things go to shit.

However I think the world is a lot more stable than it was even a few years ago.

It's unfortunate but as citizens of a supposedly democratic nation we'll never have much say in what our government does and how the rest of the world thereafter perceives us as a nation.
