What RCs would you hope to see in the future?

If you could see any possible drug designed in the future, what would you want it to be?

I personally would love to see a chemical tweak of salvinorin(or any Kappa Opiod agonist) that wouldn't metabolize as fast & would leave one roaming salvia land for an hour or two. Wouldn't be too recreational for most people, but within that time frame I think one could at least make some sense of the madness that is salvinorin. It'd be a pretty shamanic expierence.

the only RC's I hope to see in the future are psychedelics, because it seems these are the RC's that are "safest", as in people don't abuse them as bath salts and fake weed and shit. Yeah, there have been some problems with the 2c-x's, but for the most part most psychedelic drugs are only consumed by psychedelic connoisseurs, as opposed to people abusing stimulants like meph and mdpv and having health issues/making the RC market look stupid.

When you say psychedelics you're referring to phenethylamine & trypamine analogues I presume? I have a pretty sure feeling there's gonna be an infinite amount of those in the coming years.

Another idea I have, would be an epinephrine reuptake inhibitor that also lengthens how long epinephrine lasts in the body before metabolizing. Now that would have some abuse potential, but in my eyes it wouldn't have that dirty feeling I get from a flood of dopamine, & there's an appeal in my mind to triggering the fight or flight response. Adrenaline rushes are hard to come by, but it's quite a state of mind. Something about pure in the moment tunnel vision & instinct fuelled responses is appealing to me. Unless ephedrine can already do this, but from what I've read thus far it's more stimulating than an adrenaline rush. Maybe if you blew a line of it, but I can't be too sure, yet.

Novel GABAergics with the recreational potential of the barbiturates and methaqualone, so obviously some more quinazolinones are pretty high up on the list, ethchlorvynol analogs may hold potential (and would be unambiguously legal), and whatever else people think of.

A rolicyclidine (PCPy) analog that closely approximates the effects of the parent drug, I'm very interested in that one.

I'd love to see more methaqualone analogs. Etaqualone is really good - but sadly not available. There are a couple others unscheduled in the US (but scheduled in some european countries).

This. I've never sampled barbs, let alone methaqualone, and as a downer person I'd gladly play the guinea pig once or twice, just for the experience, since I'd probably stick to opiates anyway.

Speaking of which, some new RCs that hit opiate receptors would be very nice indeed. I've had o-desmethyltramadol, and that stuff was amazing. But taking into account the scarcity of the latter, I guess RC producers shy away from opioid analogues because of their high profile addiction-wise. Understandable but still a pity, since even though I've not yet sampled all the currently available illicit opis, more choices can never hurt
