What puts you off a street dealer?

What puts you off a street dealer? Conversely, what turns you on to a street dealer?

Personally, I've never bought anything off a guy off the street however I was once ripped off by a guy I used to work with after trying to get some weed.
I've considered the fact that I would probably buy some MDMA or weed off someone I met while out in town drinking or at a house party because with weed, you know what it is and MDMA is easily tested with kits.
I don't think I would consider buying any sort of pyschedelic unless it was from at least a friend of a friend who the friend considered trustworthy and/or had bought off before.
I think what would make me more open to the idea of buying off what is essentially a stranger, them actually knowing what they're selling, being able to describe effects.
(I wouldn't buy anything I don't already know the effects of)
I'm still relatively new to the world of drugs and the whole culture so maybe my worries shouldn't be so.

I'd like to know:

• Would you ever buy off a stranger you just met?
• What would they have to do/say/sell to convince you to buy?
• Would you ever buy something if you hadn't heard of it before but they could tell you the effects?
• Would you have to know someone who knows/bought from them before?

It's becoming increasingly difficult to find legit vendors and I just wondered whether it's still really possible to enjoy this new world without online vendors.

It's a must that the dealer knows what he's talking about, but if I'm determined not to buy, no convincing can help.

No, if I don't know the drug/its effects, then I can't tell whether I'm being ripped off or not. I also don't want drugs that I've never heard of. What's the point?

Depending on the person, that could make me trust him much more, and make my purchase likely.

in this kind of situation i usually only get something like weed. i used to do opiates and other pills and 99% of the time you dont have to worry about getting bunked with those if you know what to look for. when at a party or festival or something usually one of us in my crew has a test kit handy if we are throwing in on any psychedelics or MDxx.

in the past when we wouldnt have kits on us i would research pretty heavily the ecstasy pills making rounds as well as blotter prints. if it was WoW or something it would just come down to the vibes i got from the guy selling it. i have been bunked on rolls/molly a few times and i have never been bunked on doses--however there have been multiple times where i have ended up with pipes, BK, 25i, etc from doing this. test kits are a must in todays black market for these drugs. luckily i havent had to buy from strangers in a long time, and even when i have test kits have saved the day.

Personally, I never mix friendships and business transactions. I keep those two spheres of my life separate.

Vendors come and go, that's the nature of a gray market. You have to research these things yourself and get a sense for what's shady and what's legit.

But don't ever mix up the concepts of "friendship" and "trust" with how you determine whether or not something is safe to put into your own body. That is solely your own responsibility. Friendship means nothing if you end up poisoning yourself.

Really though, most drugs are just really abundant over here and, so far at least, I've never had any troubles. For some reason, "street" people tend to love me to bits and we often end up hanging out for a while. Not my scene at all, but proves they are just nice and not much of a worry. Don't think you can get away with an RC anyway (coke and amphetamine being the exception here, most product is shitty) because you can have lab testing done for 10 euros and once it's known you're selling "fake" <whatever> then you just lost all of your clientelle

Always someone with a customer base I know though and never from a random dude at a festival. Would never buy LSD from a street dude, 2C-B probably. If I ended up with 2C-C or 2C-D then that'd be fine with me.

p.s Vendors aren't dying, they're just making everything a bit more private.

No. The only times that I ever got psychedelics that way were via two acquaintances -- one for mushrooms and one for LSD -- one time each. The former was nearly a quarter century ago and the latter eleven years into the past.

For some of us, it's a fact of life, sadly.

I don't know the IUPAC name of anything I've ever taken! lol

I know a couple of names for most things I've taken though and if I ever was to buy "Molly" I'd be sure to ask if they meant MDMA or some other MDxx and if they said MDMA I'd hope they knew what it means or it would seriously put me off.

I meant, as Nately's Whore said, buying from someone face-to-face as opposed to online and in the post. For example, someone you meet at a bar or pub or even a house party with your friends and the dealer is a friend of a friend who was invited to the party from knowing at least someone there.

- Nah probably not. Have convinced friends to take stuff though, but I ran them through times and problems and such.

-Normally yes, or at least a trustworthy friend would have had to.

I can't stand street dealers, they don't know how to organise time properly, often goods aren't great and there's a greater chance of getting ripped off.
