I am wanting to start lucid dreaming. Don't worry I will be using plenty of techniques and training. But I would also like to use some psychedelics as training wheels to jump start this, if there are some good psychedelics for lucid dreaming then let me know. There is nothing wrong with training wheels as long as you grow out of them.

Thanks.

I'd say ketamine and mxe are going to be your best bet to get to a similar state as lucid dreaming.

DXM or Ketamine. But you might wanna look into Calea zacatechichi, an herb that when smoked before bed has provided many users with the ability to enter a lucid dream state easily. My buddy and i have tested some of these dream herbs and they do work, it's incredible really. Also, nicotine transdermal patches when worn overnight produce intensely vivid dreams! I have never heard of the nicotine patch NOT having this effect when worn at night, although the package clearly says do not wear overnight, I found it to be worth it. Works every single time, I swear by it.

Are you a smoker?

If not, and you're willing to take a chance at being addicted to nicotine, try smoking a single roll your own cigarette (they're stronger) right before bedtime and you will have lucid dreams that are very psychedelic, almost like tripping only in your dreams.

If you're a smoker, you can try and quit using patches, but put them on right before you go to bed for the dreams. You will dream like crazy and I've found it particularly useful, even more useful than other psychedelics for personal problem solving stuff. Nothing quite like getting deep into yourself and remembering a night of spelunking in your own minds deepest corners.

The only other trip I thought was productive like nicotine was when I purposely went to sleep and set my alarm for two hours out (10pm) and when the alarm went off, I just woke up, took the hits of acid, and then went right back to sleep (all groggy)... several hours later, I woke up about in the peak. That was incredible. It was really amazing to be able to remember all these deep things that I normally don't have much access to.

Those e cigarettes would be best of course since the cancer causing chemicals aren't there, aside from nicotine which probably does cause cancer all by itself though in the quantities we're talking here that's probably not a concern.

However, be careful, don't get addicted to nicotine, it's just about the hardest thing to kick ever. And I've kicked quite a few bad habits over the years being a chronic pain patient. The two that stand out as the most damaging are clearly alcohol and tobacco with meth and opiates closely following.

With tobacco, when I smoke, I'm careful not to do it more than once a week. Hard rule. Do it three days in a row and it could be thirty years before you quit the hard way.

Be safe.

Thanks everyone for your responses so far. I thought ketamine would be good for this too.

Badweather I must say I have have kicked a nicotine habit once and for good a long time ago. If I ever use it again I will be very responsible. The e cigarette sounds like a good idea with the WBTB method or something like that.

I actually have Silene undulata and Mexican dream herb growing in my room. I've only used a small amount of the Mexican dream herb.

Thanks for your responses so far. Anyone else have anything to add.

Psychedelics tend to cause insomnia, and are poor choices if your goal is lucid dreaming. Also, we just had a couple other dreaming threads, and this is not substantially different enough to really warrant the space it would take up.

There are however, some lucid dreaming related threads on BL, such as these: 1, 2, 3.
