I'm not too experienced with rc's so I can speak mostly about the more classical psychs. Visually, the most cartoony effects I got was from Salvia, key difference to cartoons being it wasn't exactly fun fun joy joy experience like most cartoons tend to be. Almost reminds me of the cartoons aimed especially to infants, like teletubbies and such, except with salvia everything is dead serious.
Now, the most cartoony (is that even a word?) experience I've had when I completely abstained from ALL types of drugs for almost 3 months (miracle I know), then took 2x 10mg of oxycodone orally beacuse of intense back pain, later on smoking way, way too much strong weed (I had zero tolerance, a tiny hit of leaf would have had me). What happened was something I have never experienced before or after. I started tripping out in a very salviaesque manner, my body was morphing in to weird objects/things/creatures straight from a cartoon world. I experienced my teeth become solid, then suddenly shatter and "melt" on my desktop. I was shocked to say the least, until I realized it was all in my head. But it all felt real, just like I'd imagine it would feel to have your teeth melt. I was pretty much incapacitated and tripping in a dissociative state at that point.
It really got me thinking though, if salvia works on the kappa opioid receptor just like oxy does according to some research, could it mean that there's some psychedelic potential to oxy as well? What I experienced was distinctively salvia-like, but because I haven't managed to repeat the experience (or even tried for that matter) I can't say for sure, I mean it could have been that my vaporizer had some salvia 'contamination' that I wasn't aware of at that time because it was almost 3 months since my last time using it.
