What precautions do you take to prevent drug ripoffs?

I was sold fake acid today. I keep wondering what i can do to prevent it from happening again.
 
Only use dealers that you know are reliable. I.E. friends/aquantances would recomend them.

With new/random people like one off deals at a club or rave, Ijust use instinct and gut feeling, yeh it doesnt always work, but Ill try and talk for a little while before actually doing the deal.
 
Never front

Never buy from a stranger

Never accept drugs as payment for anything

better safe than sorry.

Well if your in a controlled atmosphere like a school I would suggest some form of recourse. Some kid sold me a seroquel in HS and told me it was xanax and I didnt know at that point so later I threatened him with violence and he never sold me BS again. For the most part I would say just buy from people you know.

He was a middle man, so any sort of recourse would have been counterproductive.

Droppersneck Ima suggest that you read our forum rules and guidelines. So far weve had to close quite a few of the threads u started, and alot of your posts are borderline against the rules.

This post is a horrible suggestion--Sorry to be harsh, but its mad irresponsible to suggest for somebody to start a fight with somebody in school. Thats a great way to draw attention to yourself and get in MORE trouble for havin drugs on you. its a immature way to act and apparently the guy who posted this thread, dont know his way around this game too good, and is takin the advice in this thread--so that makes the fact that u givin bad advice worse, cuz when u dealin with somebody who is impressionable and dont know wat they doin, like the op, its much more likely that the OP will actually take it.

Please think before you post and get familiar with our rules in here. it seems like you aint checked them out yet judgin from your posts, and even tho you aint been in trouble yet, if you dont know the rules, you prolly gonna end up breakin em since you dont know that the shit you doin is wrong, you feel me? In the worst case situation, continuin to post without readin our guidelines and breakin the rules here could even get you banned off the site, so u might want to do that and save yourself some trouble in the future.
 
Its not always going to be able to work out, but I suggest only buying from people that you can either test some out right there or know how to meet up with them again. Usually in the instances that I deal with people who I either know where they live or hang out at they are much less likely to rip you off, seeing how you can find them and confront them (confront NOT assault).

Sketchballs who dont want to give out a number or you dont know anything about them and jsut met at a party or randomly through a friend I would really try to do a tester....obviously with acid this proves difficult since it takes 60-90 minutes to tell, I have had some cool kids that I started the trip at their place and once I saw it kick in I purchased the rest and got a ride to where I wanted to be. Just use your gut instincts combined with common sense, dont let the addict part start talking or you'll start buying coke/dope that you know sucks when you cant find anything else lol
 
Don't let a dealer rush you.

I understand too much talking makes me seem sketch to him, and like in any business time is money. But I'm not putting any legit dealer in any great inconvenience by exchanging a few social pleasantries so that he and I can feel each other out. If any dealer were to mutter something like, "Just shut up and gimmie the money," I'd walk away. That's not how you treat a paying customer, whether the business is legal or not.

If he seems anxious to get the deal done in a split second, it's probably not because (as he'll want you to think) that he's afraid to get busted. He actually wants to GTFO before you've gotten a good look at his product and realize he's ripped you off.
 
I just got ripped off recently so I have completely changed the way I do things. Never give money before hand, and if this is gonna be your regular guy at least test the stuff before you buy or only get a small amount at first. Make sure you can determine some of the terms of how you both conduct business, don't let them be completely the boss because even though they are providing you a service without people like you there would be no money, so I think its 50/50. Don't let them know you got a lot of money, if you can portray yourself to be poorer it can help you from getting ripped off (clothes, drive in a cheap car). The slightest hint of a getting screwed over immediately drop that person because there are ton of people working in this field, and you can wait that long to find that person.
 
Enter into some dialogue for as long as you can, listen to your instincts and if in doubt don't. I've met so many bullshitters, loads on alibaba when shopping, a little dialogue back and forth and you can quickly eliminate the jokers. Look for people who care, have a passion for customer service, can offer good info, then listen to your gut. That doesn't just go for here but in all walks of life.
 
dont give someone your money so they can go get it
know who your dealing with
try it before u buy it if possible
(my crank dealer deserves and award for being the best dealer of 2010)
 
have a good relationship with your connect

you see the bag, then you whip out exactly the proper amt of cash, precounted. always drugs handed over first, never show people you have more money than you need to.

make sure you know your shit about drugs. and make sure they know youre not a dumbass

avoid middlemen if at all possible

know your dealers, that's the best and easiest way, same with any business i guess

never buy from junkies in withdrawal (unless they're selling something they aren't hooked on for cheap just so they can score and get well, in this scenario you can actually get great deals)

if something feels off it probably is

avoid buying any drug from anyone who has too complicated a story and demands the money upfront

avoid buying when desperate, always appear as though you can afford to walk away and don't need the drug if at all possible, I realize that's not always possible

just get a script to any pharm that you buy illegally if there is any way you can because in the long run it will save you a ton of money

don't buy drugs or do them

only buy acid, ecstasy, and shrooms from people you know otherwise you could end up with either fake shit or poison
always taste the coke or smack before you buy
always smell the weed
and if you dont recogonize the imprints on an rx pill and you cant get to an internet source on your phone then dont buy it
o and taste ketamine before you buy it too
