What pre and post workout supplements do you use?

Lol overdone I feel ya. When I first started taking supplements I had no idea what I was doing, bought a tub of NO Explode, and get a 30 pill bottle of muscle tech because it was 10DOLLARSOFF! No I actually research the shit I put into my body, and I've come to the conclusion that jack3d is one of the best on the market at the moment. You should give that go after you run out of Amplified NO Loaded.
 
I actually have some jack3d. I was misled by the GNC rep but am glad that he didn't know. I was looking for something to take to get me through long shifts at work and he said to use jack3d. It does work well for the work thing but I now realize that that is not what it is for

The funny thing is is that I work in a pizzeria and I mix the jack3d in one of those waxy, paper soda cups. If it sits in the cup too long it starts to eat through the cup!!!! I haven't seen it go all the way through but if you hold it to the light you can see that the cups texture has changed.

caffeine for working out? i always try to avoid having any coffee or any thing like that a couple hours before i work out and after. i also do not like having any food in my stomach. i always thought that stims were bad for working out because it constricts your veins and then your body cant get the nutrients it needs to replenish after you have worked out. i dunno that was always the logic in my head.

anyways like i said i usually eat 2 eggs and a slice of toast then about 2 hours later workout. then have a whey protein shake. i think the one i got now is called "super mass gainer" but thats only if u use 4 scoops! lol i only use about 1.5 and it does the job. have def noticed increased mass.

also i usually wont eat lunch when i do this as i consider that protein shake to be a meal.
 
Right now I'm using Super Pump 250 before a workout. I eat a fair sized balanced meal about 2 hours before a workout. Immediately after a workout I drink a protein shake of 1.5 scoops of Myofusion (35 or so grams of protein) and eat half a cup of oatmeal with a banana as I drink the shake. If I have one, I'll eat half an avocado to get some healthy fats in there. Sometimes I will go to Subway instead and eat a foot long roast beef sandwich with all the veggies and about 40 ounces of green tea. I like the Super Pump, but it does have some side effects. I hear that jack3d is #1. Before I bought Super Pump, I would eat some ginkgo biloba, about 3-4 raw omega 3 eggs, and a banana before a workout. Gave me tremendous energy.
 
Benefits of pre & post loading

Just to gather some insight on this topic, I have the basic understanding of it but what supplements consist of loading and the benefits of each is what I'm keen to learn about.

I have done a search, but none of which has given me the answers to what I'm looking for and is a little bit technical for my understanding.

I know the basic Vitamin C, E & HTP-5?
How do they benefit us, and how should one prepare prior and after consuming.

I very regularly take fish oil, as it does benefit brain function.


As of late I have been a little skeptical with the use of the drug, so here I ask my question as to what should benefit with the consumption of the drug.

Just switched to Cell Tech for my post workout, and I'm loving it so far. I've already put on 5 pounds after a week and a half of use :D
 
take b-vitamins/caffeine/weed beforehand and then just continuously drink a protein/creatine shake before/during/after my workout. also take multivitamins for whatever that's worth.

i'm like thujone . . i just take the whey because it's easier and more convenient than getting all that protein from diet alone. plus i feel like it helps muscles recover more quickly than protein sources that require more digestion.

Seems like alot use jack3d for pre workout, thats what i used to before i used to used nano vapor it was horrible i had the cherry flavor it tasted like The Red vicks 44. As for post optimum nutrition lean gainer and casein for bed time and i take Nitrix for awsome pumps.
 
Jack3d is good, but it's too expensive.

Order DMAA online and mix it into an energy drink. That's everything that's in jack3d for cheaper.

Post-workout any source of protein or protein powder.
