What musical instrument do you play?

tenor sax
guitar
bass
clarinet
limited drumming abilities!

i play sax in a dublin soul band, can post links to some tunes if anyones interested :)

Guitar, piano, melodica, djembe, a little bit of saxophone, and I used to play the clarinet. :)

I'm not very talented at any of them, though. :D edit-- (Actually, I take that back; I can kinda shred on electric guitar, but nothing compared to a lot of the guitar wizards around)

In a more serious manner, I play drums (mainly bongos/congas/djembes and other percussive instruments, though used to play drums in a grindcore/hardcore band), guitar, piano, computer, didj, and the fool.

I also do throat singing in a very poor and boring way... :D

Guitar Hero Drums...

I first picked up a guitar when i was about 12-13... the music teacher got us to play 0-0-5-5-7-7-5-5 it was wild thing... i thought i was god... that day changed my life.

I've played guitar while high on quite a few different drugs. I even played guitar right after inhaling a nitrous balloon.
Mushrooms showed me how to play djembe and guitar at the same time. This was because the people I was tripping with were not musicians, and I was really fiending to hear some rhythm. No one wanted to play djembe or my guitar. So I had to play both. It was really just out of necessity.
Coke just got me playing really really fast, nothing too impressive, just fast. And it made me not want to play anything once I came down in like 15 minutes.
amphetamines made me stay up all night writing songs, usually in conjunction with weed
opiates sucked the soul out of my playing. I would play the same few riffs that I learned before I was addicted to them over and over again. uber bleh.
weed boosted my creativity immensely when I first started smoking, but smoking all day every day made this effect go away. Especially cause I was doing opiates a lot. I learned most of the techniques I know on guitar while stoned.
Now I feel more creative than ever now that I'm sober, and I know I have lots more to learn about guitar I'm so excited to grow musically.
