Very eclectic choices there FG. John Peel could have most of your choices on his set list, but only if the track/artist had not been given their due air time on other stations.

I loved his core belief of plugging little know stuff that no one else would play, included in that would be classics from all eras.

Please listen to this.
It's John Lennonesque, like Imagine. It is that good !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've just listened to it 8 times in a row. It can take it. I havent heard it in 23 years. It's timeless though.

Harmonica solo is wow, brass section is fan bloody tastic, subtle sax backing and vocal harmonics. Truly gorgeous. I think i want this song played at my funeral. I couldnt pay Mr Stewart a higher compliment than that. I'll have to tell my sister at a suitable moment in time. It's just had me weeping my heart out. Ive been feeling very emotionally raw these last couple of days.

He was very much the hidden genius behind The Eurythmics.

Mr. Reed-- Dave Stewart And The Spiritual Cowboys

this has the most beautiful closing guitar solo EVER RECORDED <3 A swirling echo-ey masterpiece of a track. A bit on the melancholy side, but aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh its something else.
