What MIGHT my doctor prescribe THIS TIME for anxiety?

Ive been once and she said she can tell i do have bad anxiety, so she gave me Paxil, im going back on friday because they didnt help, and she said to come back if they dont work, what are the possible meds she might give me this time?

I doubt benzos. Probably just some shitty SSRI antidepressant.

She'll tell you that Paxil takes about two weeks for you to start to feel any effect.
She'll tell you to make another appointment in two weeks to see how it is going.

Well that happened last time the two weeks has been, its time for my second visit

Just be honest with her.
I don't know your background addiction/drug wise, but did see you mentioning xanax before and I have the impression that this is what you want your doctor to prescribe.
Remember, you want to treat your anxiety, just tell your doctor this.

That's all I can say at this point.
