what makes afghani bud so ill

Afghani past time to grow superb weed thats been passed down through many generations and perfected to a science that only they know?

i have two kabul plants, they are an indigenous mj plant to the area as well; i cant find any info on the strains.

i love good afghani, but despise afghani-goo/afghoo that strain needs to disappear.

they are a tuff, short stocky plant that is used to being beat down by the sun, and bottom feeding, digging deep into the ground looking for moisture, gathering lots of rich minerals/nutrients along the way. the big fat leafs are to catch extra sun, air, or expel extra heat, and is a host for resin because of the bright, tight, intense conditions.
 
Think Afghani spp. (indica the plant you would otherwise harvest and smoke as bud) through to the traditional end-product... sticky, hot-pressed black Afghani hash. It's the dominant source of pack to smokers across the region. Whilst not the most cerebral of highs the body stone can be intense depending on where the source strain is grown. There are many 'branded' presses ranging from small family enterprises to large-scale processors rending acres of plants from far and wide. Lawrence Cherniak's Great books of Hashish features an interesting pictorial on the subject of production. Definately worth the read.

Do you have an album with pics of all your plants ? Would be pretty interresting to see what you are growing =]

i guess i could pull a few out, but ima hurtin atm, like i dont even want to look in there... but i did peak dropping the curtain ;) and the lil obviosly a top cut clone !yes! has raised her branches, and they are holding the fat leafs of some Hawaiin Frost. i cant find any info on this, but it looks and smeels like hawaiin skunk, and the drying cola being trimed like apple jolly ranchers and slight skunk to me, i guess the frost part is jack frost = hawaiin skunk x jack frost, jack frost being jack herrer x white widow x northern lights#5

@sega, you mean like hindu strains? i have yet to get my hands on any of these genetics, arent they a bit of a natural hybrid?!?
