What made you smile today?

I went and visited someone that I sort of consider like a second mom or grandma, and talked to her for about 3 hours straight about things. It was nice to just sit down and talk about what's going on with me at this point in time. I almost never do this, for whatever reasons, unless it's just rambling to someone in BL chat lol. Either way, it was refreshing to just sit down and exchange how each of us were doing. I wish I had more people like her, that I was comfortable and enjoyed talking with. Maybe her being so much older is part of the reason that I talk to her unlike I talk to anyone else. Anyway, this is what made me crack a smile today.

Getting a very nice msg/sms that made my day start really nicely :)
 
The look on my son's face when I caught him dumping his dose of medication down the drain when he thought I wasn't looking.

Normally it would be a cause for lecture... but today I just couldn't stop laughing.

Knowing that other people smile and the things they smile about made my apathetic (sp?) feeling dissappear for a while.

I haven't stopped smiling since my lil boy...Kaiden...was born yesterday at 1:38 a.m. =D

Finding out I can move to Chicago this weekend and have a place to stay for a few weeks and then not fifteen minutes later getting an email from a recruiter at a company I sent my resume to over a month ago asking if I was still interested in the position and when I was available for an interview.

thanks guys, he is still making me smile...NONSTOP....I jsut lay and watch him for hours :)

...phone calls
...feeling someone even though they are hundreds of miles away
...thinking back when it was all just a dream, and now its becoming a reality
...manicures, pedicures, tanning, brazilians, hair-treatments, skin-exfoliation... oh my! (and yes, i did say brazilians made me happy today... and by brazilians, i mean waxes... and although they are making me happy today, i dont think they will make me happy at the moment of...)
