What made you smile today?

^^^ that's because you're both very special people :)

I am catsitting for my ex's sweet little Persian cat, and this morning while I was getting ready for work she was being so sweet and affectionate, giving me kisses on my nose and I couldn't help but smile despite all the bullshit going on in my life.

Watching tv with my little 6 year old cousin, Sydney, adn as she layed with her head part on ym belly, and my baby kicked....Her face expression as she said "what was that"..."It was the baby kicking silly".... she had the cutest look on her face.

Not only is this little miracle in my belly amazing to me, but beautiful to become so wondeful to a 6 year old!

AND

Receiving another letter from my boyfriend and him writing about how much I mean to him!
 
i had a bike accident on my way to work today, but I wans't hurt & the only damaged part was the muffler, which needed to be changed anyway. Now the other car's insurance is paying for a new one!

I'm also happy because never once, even right after the crash, did I feel any anger towards the other person, as would be the the normal reaction in such a situation.
 
Laying on the sand being hit by the hot sun rays in Ocean City with the man that I am in love with%)

Just laying there getting tan and hearing the waves crash with not a worry in the world made me want to cream my pants!
 
i came home today, for the first time since the accident a month ago. and i can walk.
 
I wore a dress today, and when I went to Subway for lunch, there were these 2 guys walking in as I was walking out. One dude blatently looked me up and down and said loudly to his friends "damn man...ain't nothin like a beautiful woman in a dress"

Totally made my day :)
 
this didn't happen today but it's something that sticks out in my mind.
My girls and I were walking out of walmart at school, and this old couple is walking in. As I held the door for them, the man said
"four beautiful ladies coming out and one beautiful lady coming in"

Now when I heared that, it absolutly made my year!=D

And just getting another letter from my boyfriend...I love him so much! :)
 
Calling my travel agent and getting everything confirmed - now I just have to wait 2 more months!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D:D:D
 
I'm taking the day off tommorow to take my nephew to Disneyland- when he got home from school today he had a big beautiful smile on his face and said "So Auntie are you ready for our big day tommorow?"

If he's not big enough to get on Indiana Jones I'm ditching him ;)
 
Having the girlfriend of one of my friends call me sexy when I woke up.......even though I look like a zombie in the morning. :)
 
After one of the crappiest weeks ever, feeling abused and undervalued I took my daughter to see "Piglet's Big Movie", it was so simple and all "warm and fuzzy" that I left feeling better than I had in weeks.

Yes laugh if you like, it really made me feel better! :p
 
"What made you smile today?" - Walking into a shop, and seeing a girl that I thought was very attractive, only to have her look at me and start smiling, and look at me several more times, smiling.
 
while sitting and resting...seeing the "big tough" looking guys... pushing their strollers around shopping being sooo unbelievably sweet to their little kids...

just made me smile.
 
I had my wisdom teeth out three weeks ago, and all during that time my wonderful boyfriend was there by my side, feeding me slushies and making sure I had my medication on time. I looked like a damned squirrel, with my big swollen cheeks.

I had been feeling fine up until three days ago, when my face started hurting again. Turns out I got some sort of freaky infection in one of my incisions and I had to get it opened back up and have a drain (ew) installed. Now I am all re-poofy and miserable....Still, everytime he sees me he says "You know what? You are the most beautiful girl I have seen all day."

Everyday, he does something like this to make me smile. He makes me feel alive, and loved like I have never been before. In just the short span since February, I have acquired a best friend, a confidant, and a man who tells me everyday that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me. As chaotic my life is, and the shambles that it has been reduced to, just seeing his face makes the world stop and I forget all of my stresses.

So in a nutshell, today, true love made me smile.
