What made you smile today?

I smiled today because last night I drank, without drinking myself into a stupor, without getting totally ripped and without being an ass.

This is something I have had a bit of trouble with in the recent past, and today I was proud of myself

I am moving citys... today i said goodbye to one of the girls i worked with, she hugged me.. real hard.. that made me smile.

My little brother came home and surprised me for Christmas. He's my love xmas will be a lot of fun now

My little cousin had a lot of difficulties with is brain when he was younger, and he is somewhat mentally disabled. He has about 5 times more energy than everyone else, and it gets really tiring at times. I have no idea how my aunty manages it, but she does really well...

anyhow, today we let my little budgerigar sit on his shoulder, and my cousin became really cute and quiet (rare occasion, trust me) and very careful not to scare the bird, and then my bird reached out and kissed him on the cheek. it was so cute.

it wasw really hot today and my pool was nice and cool... :D
spending with good mates :D
being told i can cook good food :D

getting to go to a party that i didn't really think i would fit in at, and fitting in... very nice.

waking up and hearing an old friend who i hadn't hung out with for years snoring loudly beside me... it made me feel so safe.
i just hung out with her and we watched old disney movies together.
it was a great way to spend the new years day
