What Job Best Suits A Drug User?

become a writer. Write as a staff writer for a newspaper/magazine. Write your own novel/short stories. Kids books.

For me, i always did really well in english/literature. And I am a professional cook by trade and a professional pothead, so I am gonna write an awesome stoner cookbook. When its done, ill post it and yall can get a sneak peak. Paypall donations welcome!:D

hah he sits around smoking weed all day, what do u think he does for a living little man? Thread seems like a joke imo.

Smoking weed can be a profitable talent in some ways. Perhaps you could perfect a bong or vaporizer design and make millions off it. One that any stoner out there would just have to purchase.(It would have to be something pretty damn useful or unique) It's a long shot, but if your truly that passionate about smoking weed then its a feasible career. I would have to guess that statistically, the odds are against you being that pot is not legal in U.S. This career choice would probably be for the true stoner who actually has a legitimately good idea from the start. Otherwise you'll end up absolutely no where career wise with considerably less brain cells then you started with.

not trying to take away from anything you said but its been proven that marijuana does not actually kill brain cells.

i got a buddy that sells hot tubs. Pretty kush job sits by a fireplace and waits for customers to come in and he talks to em ripped everyday

Headshop owner bro, you get the start-up capital, buy the products, etc. then you're good to go. Have cannabis incense burning, blaze whenever you want, hang with the stoners, invite your regulars to a VIP room in the back ;)

Cook, dishwasher, night cleaner, etc.... Kitchens generally have a lot of drug users and you get a lot of cool scars from cuts and burns! Usually free meals too.

That is my life. It's real nice to be a cook when the munchies set in. ;)

Yes but it has been proven (by me through an in depth personal study) to cause you to... exercise them less.

I just landed the best job I could ask for at this point in my life.

I do technical support over the phone from my home, for 14 dollars an hour...

the only prerequisites for the job were knowledge of computers and a+ certification

My dad's coworker is friend's with a guy that has his own show on OLN (that outdoors living channel). He's the dude that goes out into like the middle of nowhere and survives off whatever he can find. Well, apparently when that guy isnt shooting his show, he sits around and smokes a fuck ton of pot...lol

I worked at a golf course, and that was nothing but fun. I smoked damn near everyday, got drunk, did coke, did E, and smoked tar amongst other things... but the part of the job that made doing drugs there so fun was you get to drive around the carts while you're fucked up after dark. Good times...

re-opening the thread with the note that this thread is about "what job best suits a drug user"

not "i use H should i do x job?"

I rather have a successful career and just smoke my weed in the evenings or on weekends.

This is ideal ...
As someone who eventually started burning out before/during/after work, it does take a bit of the fun out of the experience (plus reducing your stash @ the added cost of paranoia on the clock).

That said .. Most of the ones my friends have echoed have come up (programming, tech support, horticulture)
Artistic stuff obviously, but that's not actually a job ;-)

My friends were always jealous when I worked at Legoland, and couldn't believe I didn't trip on the clock. Now I kinda wish I had.

I used to do a lot of varied security work; daytime is trouble but graveyard patrols, what a sweet job .. Whether on foot (I love to hike) or in whatever POS patrol car, I could just crank up the heat + the metal / late nite triphop and make easy $$. The whole world is asleep; its just you and the stars. Sitting still drives me crazy tho.

Until recently my current job was great sober or stoned; I'd just go mental multi-tasking on the PC with databases/internet; mania+obsessive-compulsive+chronic --> channelled insanity.

Once or twice I tried, but couldn't concentrate with any opiate in my system, but I'd think customer service or something slow would be ideal. Tweakers need something demanding/occupying/dynamic; psychonauts .. Well those sorts don't belong in the workplace; all they can do is feng-shui the local co-op's shelves in tune with Nature's patterns (and completely lacking consumer logic).
I can't communicate too well when blazed, so solitary work is essential.
