I'm interested to hear what your personal favourite drug or drug combination is for socialising. A drug that allows you talk to strangers with confidence, present a likeable image to your peers, motivate you to want to get to others and basically be the best you.
Alcohol is obviously the main social lubricant in society, but I find after the first initial few drinks the good social effects wear off. It also doesn't really help you to interact in a meaningful way, more the opposite in fact. I usually reflect on my drunk conversations with regret.
MDMA is probably the most well known drug for connecting people (often strangers), but personally I feel like the entire MDMA high involving all the physical aspects somewhat eclipses its worth as a social lubricant. The entire experience is usually fragmented and dreamlike for me the next day, and so, any meaningful interaction I might have had with friends or strangers is often lost the next day.
Meth is fantastic as a social lubricant with the right doses. The euphoria makes you excited to talk to people and because you're alert you can process what other people are saying. Amphetamines are good too, but lack the euphoria that really motivates you to socialise. Unfortunately in both of these cases it's easy to go overboard and appear over the top and obviously fucked up to your peers, which isn't a nice image. Alcohol often becomes involved and unless you can maintain a steady level of drinking, you just end up looking like a drunk mess who won't shut up and often you stop listening to other people and just try to scavenge as much attention as you can.
My favourite is BK-MDMA because it isn't as intense as meth, which can sometimes make you appear a little too enthusiastic or loud and opinionated. While BK is similar, it's just a tad bit more subdued and relaxed, rendering it perfect for social situations. I don't know why this drug isn't more popular. Sometimes though it makes me talk about myself too much, which I can see is annoying to others.
