it's my personal favorite but to be totally honest, i'm more afraid of tweakers than i am of crackheads... it's a whole new breed of shady
 
whats the differenece between pharm. meth and street meth?

how similar are the effects?

desoxyn comes in 5mg tabs right? what would be the equivalent dose of say 15 or 20mg of desoxyn?

my favorite stimulant:

oxycodone.

its not on the list and is a CNS depressant NOT a stimlant, but it stimulates me more than adderall or ritalin, i get much more productive on it. not so much (or at all) with hydrocodone. but 5-12.5mg dose of oxy really work great for a nice relaxed body comfort warmth and the nice worry-free energetic, motivated feel.

but since its not a CNS stimulant i'd say my favorite stimulant is methylphenidate (Ritalin)

adderall and dexamphetamine make me too uncomfortable. ritalin is much easier on my body and is helpful (not recreational really). i also like ritalin because it doesn't crack me out and i dont really desire more. that helps a lot, because addiction isn't cool



[edit] i forgot about non-pharmaceutical stimulants, my favorite stimulant: my choice would obviously go to cocaine. then crack. then ritalin...adderall.....d-amph... caffeine, and last but not least, well yes least, it my least favorite, nicotine. YUCK!

never tried meth, and don't intend to.

I'm exactly the same way on my methadone. I'm prescribed that for my spinal stenosis & it gives me that energetic warmth where I can get a lot accomplished.
The OxyContins I was prescribed initially did the same, but only if I chewed up the time-release properties. The methadone work better, but if I go over my 90 mg daily, it's nodsville.=D :| :\
 
I find that those stimulant qualities stay with those drugs for like the first few uses of them and then they diminish almost completely and make go tired and heavy (always nice) When I go on Opiate/oid binges I tend to stick to heroin mostly so that I'm noddy and tired ans if I want to feel stimulated I'll take a certain amount of OC or Methadone. However I know that if I take over 320mg OC or or 120mg Methadone I just pass the fuck out. Like squidhead said.

Squidhead, how long have you been on the Methadone and have the stimulant qualitie stuck with you the whole time?

Been on methadone since 2000, starting at 40 mg daily. Doc has me on 90 mg daily now & amazingly enough, I still get jacked-up when I take my dose.
Even though I'm on the Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program, it's still a helluva ball & chain on me. For instance, the family & I are taking a 3-week road trip starting Saturday 5/5, but I've gotta be back within a month to refill.
I really don't want to be on the road over the Memorial Day Weekend mayhem & we're coming back the Friday it starts, 5/25.
Plus if we ever moved back out West, I'd have to find a Pain Clinic that would accommodate my addiction. It can really be a pain in the ass...or in my case, the back & legs.=D
 
Interestingly, I love Dexedrine. I think the combination of the effects produced (obviously) paired with the convenient pill format create a win-win for me. In a twist of luck, however, I haven't had the grace of Dexies since 2002, and since such they are near impossible where I reside to obtain.

Fun while they lasted, and one hell of an alcohol booster.
 
Cocaine, but only if it is of very good quality.

I'd rather have a cup of coffee than ingest some of the garbage they try to pass of as coke around here. :p
 
think my answer still remains as it was - meth/ice

and even then, base is highly available here, whereas if you want proper meth rocks you'll need to be somewhere like brisbane/rockhampton. id hate to think some of the cuts ive had running through my veins from all the base ive used.

I dunno why this is. I'm not trying to start any kind of junkie-dicksizing war; but it does seem that shard-monkeys have the worst rap of any kind of addict. On a lark I think I'll blame that on the fact that crackheads crash fast and lose motivation to cause junkie-trouble (stealing, pawning, dealing, copping, etc, etc.) whereas tweakers have a 8hr+ crash in which they can't sleep and have nothing better to do than cause trouble and plot/scheme. At least that's how I justify a lot of the trouble I've caused when I tweaked more.
 
i personally dislike stimulants for the most part. i've never tried meth, but i have done coke, ritalin, and amphetamines, and they're just not for me. the headaches are killer =\

I have no favorite stimulant... as long as it tweaks dopamine and produces euphoria I LOVE IT. In the past I've been involved heavily with cocaine, crack, propylhexedrine, diphenyl prolinol, MDPV, MDA and methylone. I like every one, for different reasons. I probably would have liked speed/meth just as much if I'd been more exposed to it.

One exception: I hate the way coke makes people behave. Fucking HATE it. *HATE* it. I discovered stimulant RC's in mid '06, which quite honestly is the reason I am able to speak to you now. I *know* I would be in prison right now if I hadn't found substitute(s) for coke when I did. The stuff was becoming a 'necessity' and my mind was wandering down dangerous & inadvisable paths. This is why I believe for some people, RC's DO constitute harm reduction!!

Stimulants... I love them. Or so stimulants make me believe.

I hate stimulants. At one time I didn't mind them and that's when I think I voted for coke/crack.

Now, I'd vote for caffeine.
 
IMO the whole notion of having a "favorite" stimulant is ridiculous, unless we're talking caffeine vs. exercise. Who's under the delusion of believing *THEY CHOSE* their "favorite" stimulant?
 
i much prefer the pharms although i have broken open a few benzedrex inhalers before, tried meth once and enjoyed it but all of those years of watching cops kind of scared me away from it, oh and living in oklahoma i see tons of itchy tweekers everywhere i go.
