Benzos what is your benzo and dosage for a stim comedown?

gonna comedown from mdpv eventually and don't wanna use all my benzos. only take em like once a week. 2mg xanax and 5mg kpins
 
Try and get some OTC antipscyhotics, nausetil is OTC in australia and contains prochlorperazine which completely reverses the effects of amphetamines completely killing the high.

Alpha blockers are also great such as clonidine and can be very easily obtained as it is non addictive and fairly safe. Used to control high blood pressure, flushing in pregnant women and for opiate withdrawal.

Finally benzos will help. Wait as long as you can and use all the benzos you plan on using at once if you want to catch some sleep and can't obtain any of the other meds I mentioned.
 
Benzos would definitely be way better than anti-psychotics for a stim comedown, to the extent at least that it would be less rough and you'd feel nicer. If you just want to sleep, take an anti-psychotic or an anti-histamine. I doubt you'll be able to get clonidine if you're in Australia.

Depending on your tolerance, 2mg of alprazolam would be a reasonably large - but still therapeutic - dose (in America anyway, but probably not in Australia). That translates to about 8 5mg diazepam tablets. But klonazepam would be way better for a comedown than alprazolam as it has a longer mode of action.
 
when im coming off of stimulants i prefer to take a short acting benzo (Xanax 6mg) along with klonopin (4mg), i prefer to take the xanax first as it kicks in really fast and clears my head and i feel back to my normal state of mind, due to its short duration i often return to a lessened crash, thats why i take klonopin with it as it is long acting and providing me with a duration of 8 hours (prettty much all day) so in doing that i dont have to worry about the xanax wearing off and still feeling a mild crash. Sometimes even xanax+klonopin doesnt make me feel back to my normal state and at times i will take a suboxone, but preferably subutex IVed...then im golden..eat some food, drink some water, and sleep.
 
Depends if you want to sleep, or just get rid of the comedown. For me, if I want to sleep I'll take 3-4mg Xanax or equivalent, and then when I wake up (probably 8-12 hours later) I'll take another 2mg to smoothly bring me down for that day as I still won't feel good for the next day. If I just want to get rid of comedown feelings and eventually get to sleep then 1.5-2mg Xanax or equivalent and some cannabis or alcohol.

Clonidine is easy to get, you just tell them you are in withdrawal from opiates and they hand them out like candy, I got a 5x repeat prescription of 50 x 100mcg clonidine this way.

Anti-psychotics are far better than benzos because anti psychotics actually block dopamine and norephrine (or whatever it is called) hence completely reversing the effect of the amphetamine, it quite literally is an antidote. Benzos just calm you down, they don't reverse the action of the amphetamine.

Firstly, are you in Australia? I'm nearly certain that clonidine is not used here. There seem to be a lot of medicines that are used in America that the doctors here just aren't convinced by. For instance, trazadone, hydrocodone (not used here for anything at all, even by ERs), clonazepam (seems to be mainly diazepam in terms of long-acting benzos) and lots of AD's like Lyrica and Pregabilin.

Secondly, if anti-psychotics 'reverse' the effects of amphetamines that would almost certainly feel extremely rough. And they don't become dopaminergic on just one use. Either way, benzos have GABA effects which would make the transition much smoother. Anyone who has ever taken anti-psychotics will know that they make you feel like fucking shit. So, as I say, for sleep anti-psychotics, for feeling less wretched, benzos.

I am in Australia and clonidine is easily obtained, I know many people who have obtained them, if I could be bothered I would scan my 5x100x100mcg prescription I got. Also my step dad was on pregabilin and is now on Lyrica and gets huge boxes of it every month for an unknown disease that resembles MS.

Try an anti psychotic, it isn't rough at all, it just stops the high and you come back to baseline with very mild stimulation, it also makes the comedown much smoother the following day as you stop the neuro toxicity from excess dopamine. Have a search on this forum, it is explained in great depth and is what they will give you if you present in the ER from amphetamine overdose due to how effective it is, they will also give you a benzos and most likely an alpha blocker (like clonidine), the docs know what they are doing, I am just mirroring their thoughts.

Seriously, try it, you only need a very small dose, not a knock out dose, you just use it to clean up the excess dopamine and norephrine release, you use the gaba style drugs to get you to sleep.

However if you use gaba, anti psychotic and also a beta blocker you can get back to base line and feel almost completely normal and then just sleep normally, it takes a bit of practice to balance the dose though. Using all three in the correct dose is the best way to get back to a completely normal feeling baseline with no roughness, no sketchyness and no come down. All three drugs have their use, anti-pschotic to stop the release of dopamine and norephrine, gaba drugs to calm you down and relax your muscles, alpha blocker to block the adrenaline type hormones (I think norephrine or something like that) which slows your heart rate and drops your blood pressure back to normal.

^ yes all benzos are a great comedown killer depending on tolerance, when im geeked on stims, i need to take double or triple my usual benzo use for sedation as my heart is pumping faster than normal, which is bad czause it jolts tolerance
 
Klonopin is by favorite benzo, but I'd much rather take a short acting benzo (such as xanax) over a long acting for a stim comedown. For me I'd say 4-6mg xanax and 6mg klonopin, with opana would be amazing for killing a comedown.
 
Klon is good for long term anxiety control. You got a great mix. when i used to do pv I would do 1mg of xanex at a time until I got calm and felt normal or at least ok. I would do the xanex 2mg max (I would think) then when it gets later take the klon and maybe a bit for xanex to help you sleep.

GOAL sleep. after that your fine. If you can sleep through the comedown your set

Earlier 5hours I took 1mg of xanax thinking I could sleep on around 50mg of a stimulant. Just cannot sleep im drunk feeling but no sleep. I screwed that one up.
