What is with my Speed?

Ok so i have speed quite a number of times, always with a white powder from a certain dealer but last week at work bought half an 8-ball from a different dealer, and was given two powders.
The powders were the base (which was BROWN!?) and the cutting powder. So not being one to judge a speed by it's colour i racked a small line of the brown powder.
I have had meth (once) before but that was white and after doiuble checking erowid meth is meant to be white so i doubt the powder was pure meth.
Neway on this speed i hardly peaked at all, and was wondering whether any of you fantastic ppl out there could tell me whether the speed being brown had anything to do with the lack of any real peak
 
look through erowid more thorougly, it talks about colors there. we can't tell you what you got, only the cook can, and if he's cookin' up brown shit, he probably can't tell you either.

"base" usually refers to "freebase" which in meth's case would be an unuseable liquid. it's not base.

Although I agree that it is unlikely that he has 'base', freebase meth oil would not be 'unusable' -- you would still be able to do it orally.
Your dealer sucks. Meth should be powder, or better yet, clear crystals. If it's neither don't buy it.
 
Yup. Also, half of an 8-ball is called a teener. (not trying to be an asshole- just so you know what it's called [at least, it is in our area]) Peace.
 
sometimes the most simple answer is the most rational one.
it might be a case of the cutting agent has been turned brown, either by sitting with the base for too long b4 cutting, or vise versa... it could also be cooked a very wrong way, and u have gotton the rejects i guess...
there r many color speed / meth, but as i also have seen the clearer the cleaner.
how dry was it. im assumingit was quite dry, but i have never seen any1 cut into brown meth b4, as the color change is very noticable.
so if it is dry i would have to say that the cutting agent has changed color, and was originally (maybe) some nice brown meth to start with
i think the life span for meth / speed is about 5-7 weeks. around that time it actually starts to break away, u also can read up on this more...
If your speeed was wet slightly then all i can suggest is that the cutting agent was brown,
And i would also have to agree that base IS VERY strong, for instance... do u think the gluc is what makes u fell what u feel?
basicly it coates the oils for a few reasons, mainly managability, and for selling
hope i shed some light, its always good to read the mini drug faq's, and ask more mods for their opinions.
 
Edemon, within my experience a teener is 1.5, not half an 8-ball. That is the weight that most people I know deal with it.
 
a teener is half a ball, if you're getting 1.5g "teeners," you're getting just as screwed as if you're getting 3.0g balls.
 
I said "in our area." Everything's too expensive in MN. Actually, though, I think it is 1.5- sorry.
