Most commonly it's used as an adjunct to anesthesia, antianxiety, anticonvulsant or muscle relaxant. Unless you need major dental work, get tetany, become epileptic, the best bet would be the anxiety angle. Tell your doctor that you don't like all of the side effects that come with ssri's.

Yeah, that's good advice. Go to the doctor's office after downing some G. Forget taking the time to fake something, there are many easier and cheaper sources out there.

Generally speaking, if you tell your doctor that you have anxiety problems or that you can't sleep he'll tell you to go to the head shrinker.
I have some real long term sleep issues and every now and again the solution is to take some benzos, but I have found it's easier (less hassle) and cheaper (no insurance) for me to buy them illicitly.

You must find reasons that you are unable to take the more commonly prescribed meds that are not scheduled. If you really want to break the law and go out on a limb, create a drug history for your self...."you tried this and that ...to no avail...etc.." (antidepressants, tricyclics, etc....)Read up and know the names. Docs will often try to find a med that works with out the possibility of habit first. The physicians motto is good to keep in mind when thinking about what they will do or not do: “First, do no harm.” Getting you hooked on benzo’s because you have sleeping problems makes a bad situation worse….they will try to avoid this. Unless you find a loose doctor.....Try a family practice….don’t go to a head shrinker….they are really hard to fool……..OR go to Mexico for the week end……you will be able to buy them over the counter…..the net offers ways of acquiring stuff from overseas pharmacy (sketchy I think).

Buying almost all recreationally abused prescriptions on the black market is almost always easier than getting a Doc to get them for you.
I don't know where you live, but in ATL, here is what I've found.
If you REALLY want to get a *legit* script for benzo's, the best doctor to go to is a shrink. 99.9% of the time physicians will start you off on an SSRI or some equally worthless drug for insomnia/anti-anxiety. If you're trying to pass off the need for Diazepam as a muscle relaxer, Methocarb. or Cyclobenzaprine are handed out like candy.
Shrinks seem to be the easiset to get Benzo's from. (For as much as you pay the fuckers they should give you whatever you want!).
In the end, most people resort back to their asshole dealers...or just steal from grandma.

It's easy to get valium from your primary doc. I've successfully used the following symptoms to get scrips:
Anxiety over a certain situation, e.g. death of a loved one, job loss (if you're just anxious, they might give you anti-depressants instead)
Trying to quit smoking, but Zyban makes me jittery
Tension headaches

Alana is really the only one to give the correct answer - and is doing exactly what I am doing - my payoff is 3mg of Klonopin per day.. sometimes I wake up and literally forget what day it is, or where I am ..
Here is whatcha gotta do - go to yer PCP, psychitrist - whatever.. say yer depressed and need something for your acute anxiety too.. you will be given an SSRI - take it! You might get a benzo script right away, but ya might not.. just call back and say your anxiety is worse with the meds..

Theres no way youll get valium youll have better luck with xanax or klonopin and thats only if your good at portraying severe anxiety.
