My boyfriend is diabetic, and so he injects insulin into his fat. Therefore has rigs and vials of insulin. In one vial, there is a clear liquid filling it about a fourth, and the rest of the bottle is filled with foam, like the liquid fizzed or something. I've never seen insulin do this. Is it a drug? He is "getting over" serious addictions to several types of drugs, and he had sketchy texts on his phone (We share a phone, I wasn't really snooping. I want to trust him.) in which someone asked if he "wanted a twenty," and he said "I need a fifty." It was in a conversation with a guy I've never heard of in our 16 months together. I have zero knowledge of any drugs whatsoever, so should I be worried or am I just paranoid?

I don't bang drugs but, just the text alone sounds like he's using epically if he had a past drug addiction. Be upfront with him and ask him.

The I need a 50 sounds like he's drugging away. Have you seen him inject the suspicious bottle into his stomach like normal? I would keep an eye on him and take notice of things that don't seem right

He probably shook the vial. This causes it to foam up. If he lets it rest for awhile, the bubbles should subside. Do you know what type of insulin it is, as most vials dont need any agitation before use, but if it is Humulin/Novolin N, the vials should be rolled in the hands about 10 times but never shaken.
