What is the "H" in 4-FA?

I've seen someone mention "4-FA H". Could someone enlighten me as to what the 'H' is and what this means consumption-wise?

They probably meant 4-FA HCl which makes a lot more sense. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrochloride

How is this consumed? Do I have to treat it in any other way?

That just means it's not the freebase, but rather a water-soluble salt. It's the same kind of difference as crack (freebase) vs cocaine (hydrochloride).

Basically, you can't inject or snort a freebase, and you can't smoke a hydrochloride salt.
