1. Kitchen
2. Bathroom
3. Living room

Pretty much always clean.

It's my office/studio and bedroom that are the dens of messiness. I haven't sufficient closet space so the bedroom's got clothes all over the floor. And my office/studio, well, I need a little mess to stay creative: open books, drawings, notes, overflowing ashtray… When I'm battling a bit of writer's block, I use an old manual typewriter, so I kind of have the 1940s newsroom look going on.

After posting pics of my newly decorated room on BL, someone commented that I need to clean it up. Advice was taken, and now it is the most germ-free, neat looking room in the apartment. I've always been a fan of shampooing the carpet, not just in my room but all around the apartment once every week or so. We have a pretty sweet vacuum and it only costs 3 bucks for enough Glade carpet shampoo to cover our whole apartment. I cleaned up my room in general, too, and have found that it is really easy to keep a ream neat and clean as long as one or two things are done every day. For me, that is making the bed, putting up clean clothes, and throwing away mail and other small bits of trash that, while not very large on a daily average, can accumulate to a nightmare if not kept under control with a marginal amount of effort. My grandmother follows a philosophy of "clean as you go" which she applies mainly to her kitchen, which is why it is spotless even while she prepares large meals for many people. This philosophy can be applied to everywhere in the house, and makes cleaning up feel incidental rather than monumental.

the kitchen. it gets dirty the easiest and needs cleaning often, whereas in other rooms there's always some dust collecting everywhere.
it's the only room that i willingly clean. everywhere else cleaning is a boring, mechanical, repetitive activity. not so in the kitchen somehow...

The kitchen is always the cleanest room.

I vaccilate from being fairly clean ( if I am keeping house ) to downright uninterested in my space to the point of neglet.

I suppose this is a facit of my personality that any future love interest will have to accept.

I'll meet that relaxed person at some point.

:D

+1 to all the comfy clutter kids

we keep the kitchen very clean. I insist on it. so, that means I get to clean it. j/k,....we both use whatever time we have to maintain our home. I just say kitchen because I do a lot of the cooking and I'm pretty anal about it. :p

We have so much in common papa, beer, buds and cooking. Would be brilliant to hang out with a cool man such as yourself. Distance is a bitch huh?

Yeah man, .....I'd make us some jambalaya, a cajun dish. Its one of my specialties. I also love to cook outdoors. I'm a wizzard at making dishes that are made in a single pan. I like to cook wild game dishes too. I love to kill my own meat.

Sounds brilliant, love me some spice in my dishes lol.
I have never tried true cooking outdoors yet, well apart from cooking cans of beans on a fire camping but that dont really count lol

battling clutter is a never ending fight. kitchen is cleanest. food prep place and all.

The living room.

It's the room most people see if come in. Some clutter still builds up on the coffee table and stuff, and sometimes the kids drag their shit in there, but it's cleaner than the rest of the house.

I straighten up some throughout the day on most days and vacuum every few days.

my bedroom/living room (i live in a studio). no particular reason, really, i just like my house to look somewhat clean since it's so small. my place can look very cluttered with only a small amount of mess so i try to keep up with it when i can.

My bathroom. Partly because it's the least lived-in room in my apartment and partly because I don't like anything in the sink, spots or smudges on the mirrors, hair on the floor, a dirty Porcelain God or soap scum.

kitchen- i don't want my food to be near yuck-ness. and the kitchen definitely gets to most regular attention as far as cleaning is concerned.

i think probably my bathrooms, cuz they're the only rooms that don't get cluttered. and cuz it's so easy to clean the shower and sink, what with the water being right there and all.
