What is the best way to administer Xanax?

parachuting is when you crush up a pill into a powder, then put it in like toilet paper or something and swallow it.
its supposed to make it hit faster.
though in the case of xanax it really doesnt make much a difference since xanax hits in like 20 minutes anyways.

Im gonna start out by saying im in a bad mood. These threads and the answers in them are pissing me off. It sounds to me like you have a thing for snorting things. Either your body's chemistry and physiology is completely different from your average human beings, or you are kidding yourself. Even though chances are against it, ill give you the benefit of the doubt. Ok, xanax hit YOU harder if you snort it, however, the answer to this question for your average person is, for the majority of people; that it is more efficient to eat or let them dissolve under your tongue (sublingual). This is a freakin fact and there is no 2 ways about it. Alprazolam hits you faster than almost any pill... and you waste a certain percentage by snorting it. It is not water soluble (another fact). It is lipid soluble. While this doesn't mean nothing is absorbed, a certain percentage is certainly lost. ugh... -Spaz-
 
Sublingually.
It tastes terrible but it works the best, put it under you tongue and let it dissolve. It will hit you within 15 minutes.
 
ah, thank you for the answer about parachuting. Now i know what Xanax is also, isn't that Xapam? I am on the white ones, 4 times a day and this one is fast acting, put it under my tongue and it dissolves.

I really dont understand how you could consume xanax in any other way that swallowing it, i mean, HAVE YOU TASTED IT? Its close to ambiens foul disgusting taste...

It has a 100 % oral bio, so why o why fuck around with snorting it?
 
Gin & Juice + Xanax = Good buzz. Gin is the best alcoholic beverage to drink sense its got hardly any impurities in it which is what gives you a hangover... Vodka and Gin are the two kinds of alcohol that provide a very 'clean' drunk. So like Rum is full of impurities and so is tequila and thats why Rum and Tequila give you such a crappy hangover.
 
i dont think xanax tastes so bad SL, if you wash it down with somethin (juice or alcohol etc.) and swish some more around in your mouth (water is better for the swishin) and in like a minute or so after dissolving you taste nothing more, and for me in general it is only kinda bad, i mean it isnt gonna be like sucking on skittles or anything its really not a biggy at all
 
From my experience and after snorting and taking oral I would definately choose taking it orally. It hits you fast if taking it orally and as far as the high i'm not a benzo fan at all but I don't mind taking a few xannies here and there. But my answer would be oral is the best route of admin.

I think asking a large group of people before trying something potentially dangerous is EXTREMELY grown up and worth of commendation. Good on you, sir.

As for xanies, oral all the way. With clonazepam, I love letting it dissolve in my mouth or sublingual, but alprazolam is so SO disgusting I need to swallow quick and wash it down with somethhing.
 
I use to sublingually take my xanax, but now I just swallow them because it feels more like a body high and the duration is alot longer.
 
I take all benzo's sublinguallly.


With Xanax however, I need a strong pop or ginger ale to chase that awful taste from my mouth.

No loss for me however, I've never been a fan of short half-life benzodiazapines.
 
Hopefully this fellow figured out how to take his alprazolam back in '09 :\
