I tried washing my shards in acetone from home depot the kind that comes in the metal can. I washed them by putting it in a coffee filter on a cup and pouring the acetone over it I had crushed it up before pouring the acetone over it and using enough acetone to cover it in the filter and I swished it around. Then I removed the coffee filter and let it dry I smoked some and I think it still had cut in it so I put it back in a coffee filter on a cup and poured warm water over it so it dissolved and squished it all intothe cup and vapped off a lot of the water in the microwave but it still was not dry so I put the cup in front of a fan and let it dry out all the way and I and smoked some and it is still not good. It looks grainy still kind of and fucks up the bowl of the pipe and leaves a black dark brown residual layer of scum in the pipe after it had been smoked... what is wrong with how I did it. Is it the stuff in the filter that is left over after I washed it in acetone the stuff that I want right and the stuff left in the cup is the cut. If I leave the dope in the acetone long enough and if it all dissolves is it not dope and if so how can I find out what the heck it is that im getting...
