A well preserved 42, but finally starting to feel it. Big on psyches when the rave scene, Madchester, acid and E culture hit big in the late 80s / early 90s, went the wrong way altogether when the scene faded and Heroin came in big on the back of it, back out the other side and dabbling with some of the interesting RCs to hit these shores of late, which brought me here. I sooooooo wish resources like Bluelight had been available to me back then. Might have saved me many a wrong turn.

What... you mean benzos are more likely to be posted about by younger people? I would've said the opposite. Ten years ago I was only interested in stimulants and hallucenagens but now I find stuff like benzos very useful and other sedatives quite enjoyable.

No. I agree with with you. That's why I think a lot of the older blue lighters didn't participate in the drug culture census.
The average age was 23 and I think 3 people said DOC is benzos.

Cane, disabled parking placard, I ride the hover-rounds at walmart, DDD, hyperkyphosis, GERD, herniated disks, sciatica/other compressed nerves, one of those (for lack of better words) "pill calenders" with 4 doses for each day, 630 Rx pills monthly (and that's just the ones I take lol), 1984 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight, I drive 5 miles under the speed limit quite frequently, chronic bronchitis, and a metabolism that has gone to shit lmfao...
no but really though, I turn 20 on the tenth of november...weird to think about...
 
i think i'm 32, but i might be 33. i can't rememebr which and don't feel like doing the math. i mean, wow, i barely even remember my 20s. it's like i graduated high school a few days ago, went to sleep, and when i woke up i was married, had a mortgage, and had to wear a suit every day. i definitely did a lot of things in my 20s... evidently picked up a couple degrees, traveled a lot.. i had a ton of friends and went out all the time... i guess i started my career and met my future wife, but when i try to recall any of the specifics in detail, it's all just one hazy half-awake memory. i dated a few girls long-term, and i couldn't remember anything really about my former five-year girlfriend the other day--not what she really looked like, what her personality was like, what we talked about, what we did, what we may have had in common... nothing. it's kind of sad really; i guess those are supposed to be some your best years. i wish i'd taken more pictures. the ones i have make my life then look really fun.

24 and thank god clean (thanks to AA/NA though not trying to push it) or otherwise Ill be 35 soon wondering where my 20s went. Have fun everyone but know when its getting rough. I cant imagine if I was still IVing meth and heroin right now.

35 and yes I wonder WTF happened to my 20's. Although H and benzos might have something to do with that.
Pretty pissed digital cameras weren't around when I was at my hottest/craziest....

Oh wow, I expected bluelight to be a bit older on average.

Maybe we should have made smaller age ranges because I have a feeling there's a significant difference in general illicit drug use between 23 and 27, for example.
 
Im 20, turned at the beginning of June. I keep saying "I cant wait until Im 21" But really, what is there to be excited about? o_O I get alcohol whenever I want it already, and Im not into the whole "clubbing" thing. And the few strip clubs that you have to be 21 or up I have heard they all suck.
So basically Im just getting older, lol, Im no longer wishing for birthdays to hurry up.

Also I think there needs to be a poll for (you can ask ages or just Yes/No) BLers to see how many actually do some kind of drug(present NOT past) , and how many just like to read the forums and post replies.
 
I am 31...yikes. Most days I don't feel older than 25, but certainly look older now. I didn't realize how young this board was! I like the idea of a poll for current users and past users...
