heh would be interesting to see the stats / forum. i bet most people in Ecstasy discussion are youn'uns under 22...

the brain mostly stops developing around 25 years old. the bulk of the HGH structuralization is 21, and 18 for girls. this is part of the reason the drinking age is 21 in america.

by 25, alot of the stem repair cells are gone if someone drinks alot at a young age. so it would be harder to learn a lot of new information at the rate of which someone younger is doing it.

so basically, i would recommend trying out drugs after 21 years old. i know a lot of younger people are trying to set forth on untrampled paths and all that. but there is a chance that some of you will never feel normal again after intermediate to heavy drug usage.

ive been mostly sober for 2 years, and still feel different than most.

yes i think young people are generally more excitement seeking / open to new experiences

i am nineteen

Gonna be 33 this month. Same age as Jesus. :-)

Edit: and I only started abusing drugs for real about the time I started posting here.

19 here. Honestly, I don't feel much different than I did at 14, when I joined. I know I've matured a lot since then, and some of the silliness of my 14-year-old posts on here make me cringe now. But I'm the same person, fundamentally. I just understand the world a bit more.

I'll probably be browsing Bluelight until the end of its existence, or the end of mine -- whichever comes first. And after almost five years of a passionate interest in psychoactive drugs, I don't see that aspect of my life waning anytime soon.

Haha, we'll see about that TAC. Maybe you're right though. I can see my time in these places coming to an end someday, I dunno, when you get older things change. When you have a home, a career, maybe even a family, you may want not to risk illicit activities and stick to the legal psychoactives (well, then there are us recluse types, nothing to lose forever and ever. Might be in it for the long haul, hell I know a 45 year old tweaker who is unusually healthy, though he used to be a crackhead and had drug break for a number of years). And there's always the possibility that all the compromising it takes to make it in a capitalist society will leave you unable to enjoy psychedelics, that's a fear of mine, but I'd rather that happen than stay impoverished forever and risk ending up on the street (not that there's anything wrong with the street life, I just don't it befits me, I'd suck at it).

I'm 21 by the way.

I'm 19 myself. The results of the poll don't really surprise me, well, 18-22 being the most common age group that is. However I did expect to see a few more older members. I know they're here! Probably just hiding and not voting ;)

I'm 21, just joined. Most of my friends are the same age and just started doing drugs this year, and I have no idea how long it's gonna last. I think we'll transition away from MDMA soon, or at least cut back on it. This forum has certainly taught me that you need to moderate your usage with it. It's nice to see people from different age groups though - it provides some useful perspectives and advice. I'm lovin the trip reports too.

That's cos you're not much different.
:)) so true. looking back, that is.

i think i was mostly the same at 19 as i was at 14. but then i consider myself more mature now at 27. still not too far from 19, but at least i got laid a lot more in the meantime

24 and 25 are such good years. Enjoy yourself. Enjoy your body while it's young. Let others enjoy it too. 25 flips into 52 so quickly. I wish I had known. God Dammit. If I had even a clue... what's done is done now. And you are probably eye candy for me or someone like me.

Come out of the shadows. You've been a member here for ages already. Speak up. We'll listen. I will.

Haha, I speak on occasion, used to alot more when I was younger (Ive written trip reports and such.) And while I know in the grand scheme of things I am still young, my body doesnt feel it. Ive put it through quite a bit of abuse from the age of 13 on. I feel like an old man half the time =P

No you think you feel what you think an old man feels like. I'm 41, when I was 20odd I didn't think I could possibly want to be 40, thought I probably wouldn't make it to 40 etc etc, all a bit cliched really.

I sort of know what you mean, I feel healthier, younger and fitter physically than I did in me 20's, part of it is learning your limits...you can still do da drugs, but you tend to ensure you take care of the basics, eating, sleeping....I remember feeling awful from mon-fri without fail when I was younger, so when you say you feel like an old man, you don't...the older you will probably feel healthier than you now.

I honestly enjoy my life and what I do with it a lot more now than I did in my 20's, alright so me 20's was a shag/drug fest, but really the shagging and drugging is better now. Shagging: I know what I like (lol, am still with the girl I met when I was 26 and she 23), and over the years have made better connections in terms of getting decent drugs.

I'm doing a job I like, I have no "issues" undealt with, I've managed to understand my relationship with me parents, I do things because and when I want to
