What is that one thing you've never done, seen, or experienced yet?

i've never broken a bone.

alasdair
en

neither had I until my accident 3 years back, 41 years and only bruised ribs to talk of. I smashed my tibia into more pieces than they could count in the scan so I made up for it.

my all or nothing approach isnt recommended, I start with a finger !

Did you just quote yourself??? NICE!!

That sounds painful as fook!

Nice starting with a finger, Well said son!

^^ probably I didnt sleep last night and am likely to be a little scattered.

It was indeed a bit sore, it was shattered and dislocated at the knee and took a paramedic and 2 ambulance people to pull it straight on nothing but gas and air ( i got fuck all)

its taken 3 years and as many ops to be able me to walk any distance but I'm off the morphine and I'll be back on 2 wheels again in a weeks or so on my beloved scooter ...which is not a fekin moped as recently stated by a mod previously held in high regard;)

Never seen a minute of any Star Wars film.

Have traveled fairly extensively but never been to the USA.

Up until 3 months ago had never been in an earthquake. Have now been in two. First was a laugh, just an aftershock while sitting on a beach, ground kinda moved left then right under my bum. Few days later was asleep in a brothel in Manila (was the only hotel we could find near the airport) and got woken at 3.30am by a 6.0. Bed shook all over the place for 1-2 minutes, had a full length mirror over the bed which I was convinced was going to come crashing down. Windowless room too. Scary.

Wow! Saw Star Wars in the theater as a child.

Ok:
I've never had children or been married (was asked once), probably won't now.

I've never been on a date, like a set up thing. Too weird.

I've never seen my mother/father having sex in my past nor remember them together, ever.

I've never been in a relationship with someone that doesn't or didn't use drugs at some point.

I've never had a TV, not in my own apartment.

I've never been deep deep diving in the depths of sea.

I've read many many books but never read them all the way through, a lot. Sometimes.

I've never lived on a boat but sailed a lot. Would be fun.

I've never seen much of my own country except NY, some of the states on West Coast etc, although I've been all around Europe, lived in England, Australia, France… been to Japan, China.. Singapore - missed the plane to India. Want to go to India and drive across my own country basically in a car one day.

I've never been in a septic tank.

I've been pulled out to sea by strong currents, but never experienced a title wave even with warnings when living in Hawaii. I've never experienced a cyclone.

I've never written a list like this and might continue it, as it's a good idea and a lot to ponder. I want to travel again one day

That's a fair old list :)

I've never been good at reading books, I guess something to do with my attention span. I discovered the joys of audio books some years ago, the best are unabridged and mostly read by the author IMO. I'de have never discovered Philip K Dick's work without them and have listened to a wide range of stuff but mainly sci-fi and cyberpunk.

there are loads available for 'unofficial' download or if you have a burning consonance try https://librivox.org/

Thank you so much for the link Allein, and I love Blade Runner btw.
I would respond more to voice I bet due to my attention span. That's basically it, and why I don't have a TV, as I listen to music, watch videos and go to poetry readings, so it makes sense. I'm listening to some artist poems right now on you tube. :)

Hah, good one. I've been stung by a bee once, when I was about 4 years old and my dad killed it with a screwdriver.

I've never had a broken bone or had stitches. Fuck knows how.

And I've never been arrested by the cops. %)

Yet. :sus:

Aye, I've never broken a bone. Touch wood!

I've never worn shorts as an adult. I hope to be able to maintain this dignified stance throughout the remainder of my time.

Same. You will also find that it is indeed a rare occasion that I'll wear a skirt or a dress. I am, for the most part, a jeans and tee shirt girl. I do scrub up nice but I pretty much have to be begged to do so. I have pretty decent looking legs but very few will ever see them. They are also the colour of slightly off blue that comes from living in Scotland.

I do have pics of my pins though. They are however in knee high socks and NSFW.

Are you saying you are a budgie smuggler kind of guy when you go for a swim?

I don't think I've ever been swimming as an adult. I did all that when I was a kid - lots - and unless somebody were to push me into a body of deep water, it's not something I'd rush to do again.

Same. Although I like being in water; as I'm a totally short sighted git it removes much of the enjoyment for me. The last time I went to a public swimming baths I couldn't see which was the deep end, so I took a guess, jumped in and nearly broke both kneecaps on the very shallow floor....
