What Is Easier; Growing Shrooms or DMT Extraction?

I don't think growing discussions are allowed (?!) so Ill keep it simple. To begin I have very little experience in chemistry, most I've done was CWEs on pain pills & as far as growing I've had outdoors poppies and weed but very poor results, mostly b/c of the sunlight/location factor.

There are a ton of methods to grow shrooms, even kits that provide everything you need (just follow instructions), however I know people who have failed even with kits so it obviously isn't as simple as they say.

How hard is it to grow shrooms? (compared to weed, poppies, cacti, so on)

How hard is it to extract dmt (base) from mimosa? (although I hear other plants have even higher amounts, ayahuasca aside)

Hope to hear back and hope no rules were broken.

If you follow the instructions, both are easy.

Mushroom growing is a much more... time intensive process. You can go from MHRB to DMT in one day, but growing mushrooms will take much longer.

DMT. Growing shrooms is long and complex and needs sterile technique and equipment and the mushroom has a complex life cycle and... Making DMT, you add water and lye and a solvent to MHRB, remove the solvent, and dry it out or let it evaporate. Easy.

I would agree with babylonboy, a STB tek for DMT is extremely easy. Although I do A/B extractions since I have lab gear anyway - I would personally hate to do A/B extractions winging it with kitchen equipment.

Mushroom cultivation can be extremely easy as well, maybe even topping a STB tek with DMT but only if you buy pre-sterilised substrate which is unreasonably expensive in my opinion. I like to do everything myself which is ultimately very cheap by comparison, investing care and time and using many items that are one-time investments. Although to do advanced techniques like cloning mushrooms it is far more ideal to have equipment like a laminar flowhood which is a large investment compared to any of the aforementioned.

And yes I have failed with an expensive mushroom kit, the result of a portion of bad luck that my fungus was weak and sensitive plus probably improper handling that caused contamination. Without experience it is much harder to be aware of how unclean we are used to working.

Learning how to be succesful takes a bit more time and reading with mushrooms.

Anyway I feel it is best to start with something you are interested in, seems like it would suck only to go through it for the result. And DMT and mushrooms are different experiences to me. They feel similar in nature due to how similar the compounds involved are but I have different use for a trip that is hours long and does not always have to be absurdly intense while with DMT (unless you take it orally) it is more like a discombobulating white-knuckled journey at neckbraking speed.

You would be wise to take all of that into account.
