What is a thread prefix? And how do I post it

I've been trying to post a thread on "Other Drugs" section & it keeps saying "You must select a thread prefix." And I've looked everywhere and I can't find where I choose or type in a thread prefix. Any help on this would be great! Thank you

I believe this is the wrong forum for questions to be asked in, but I'll try to answer it anyway. When you try to post there should be a little bar, that you can't type into, near the top of the page. Click on it and several options should come down, choose the one that you think matches whatever post you are doing.
