i've read several posts referring to different drugs (dxm for example) as disassociative. what exactly does that mean? what do they do and what are some examples?
thanks!

dis-associates you from your body.
makes you feel not like you.
can't be explained. out of body experience is all i can say.

"Prohibition...goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which out government was founded."

thanks maximus!
unfortunately the reference you gave me had the definition but not quite the description of experiences and examples i was looking for. but thanks for doin all that research for me.
good god...

Its like most "trip" drugs, it cant be fully explained it has to be experienced before you can understand what its all about.
Check the Erowid.com "Experiences" section, look up the drugs Ketamine, DXM, PCP, Nitrous. Those are just a few examples of disasociatives.

Yah, what everybody said...can't really describe it until you do it. It's kinda like you're mind floating above your body or something like that, but you just gotta find out yourself. Peace.
