What in-ear/small headphones are ideal for TECHNO?

I appreciate being able to feel every element of a techno song/set. At first I thought it was all about the bass, then I heard you don't want it to be that emphasized on the bass.

Or is it worth it to step up to medium-sized headphones?

Right now I'm looking at Beyer Dynamic DTX 80.

Any suggestions?

they don't have a model number on them. bought them from wal-mart for 20 or so dollars. they have a good fit and they have a great sound for earbuds.

Skullcandy is notoriously known in the Producer & DJ community as being shit in terms of audio output quality. They look cool, but thats their main selling point, they don't have quality hardware.

I don't know about earbuds, I only really use headphones for producing, and then I use studio headphones.

I'm sure you could figure out better answers to this question on google. Look up stuff like, "studio quality ear buds", "full frequency ear buds", etc... See what the experts are saying.

^ Brand of 'colorful' and design-based headphones.

The fact of the matter is, they are alright for (very) casual listening, but if you need/or desire high quality audio, you can find much higher quality headphones for much cheaper. Then if you're also concerned about appearance, go to your local art supply store and find some paint to customize them.

Then you can have the best of both worlds. DIY ftw ;)

^ Klipsch is a decent company, good recommendation.

Welcome to BL, by the way ;)
