I don't even have much IV experience, just a few dozen shots, but I keep seeing this vision of a needle with the bit of brown liquid and then it registers in the vein and you see that blood fill the barrel! That's the best...those few seconds where you're registered and you slowly push it in just anticipating the rush....fuck man!


I just want to be standing there now, having just prepped the shot. The needle carefully resting on my nightstand or on the table next to the couch, while I'm tightening the belt around my arm trying to get my vein to pop out. Shot's prepped, veins ready, just need the shot into space now.

Maybe it's because I finally threw out the last 2 needles I had yesterday (they had been used once, but were still good) that I'm thinking about it so much, but damn, it sounds nice.

Ahhhhh Carl I'm trying to stay away from needles reading that isn't helping. Since the dope is a hour away I'll have to settle for some OC though .
