What have you rediscovered after a long absence?

I have started eating cup of soups which have been great in the cold weather an havent had them for over ten years.

Also starting eating peanut butter in my sandwiches which I havent had since I went to school which seems like a long time ago!

Makes me wonder why I stopped!

cold cucumbers with salt. I went to a farmer's market last night and got some fresh cucumbers. I haven't had any in at least a year. They are delicious.

i rediscover albums from bands i love all the time, its such a good feeling, almost exactly the same to the first time you heard it, just takes you back into that wonderful place

Yeah, ditto to that. Listening to old music, it's like it's new again, except you already know the words :)

I went to the Rollerdome today and skated for the first time in 20years. I didn't fall on my arse once.

I have also been making pork chow mein with a packet of chicken noodle soup lately just like my mum did when I was a kid.

^ What cut of pork do you use mate? I've found fillet to be pretty expensive and dry sometimes :)

Facebook again? It's been 18 months or so since I killed my last account. I like it again :)

Ive rediscovered that going on holiday should happen more bloody often! Also i turned on my Sega Saturn for the first time in 150 year's last week and started playing some real old school classic's :)

It's also amazing how far technology has come, like comparing the Sega Saturn game's graphic's compared to the PS3/Xbox 360.

our mums must have the same secret recipe.

Rediscovered:
- playing guitar
- drawing
- not being stoned all the time

i always knew this... but i did it last night and loved it!!!

going to the footy... just being in the crowd, screaming, abusing the ref's, giving it to the other teams fans... and of course beers and pies

even though i had neither of them last night, just because i go to the footy to watch footy... not stand in line.

Shark Park?

Lang Park is by far and a way the best foorball stadium I have been to. Everything runs so smoothly despite 50 000 odd punters. There is never more than 2-3 minute wait for beer, food or a widdle despite a full house.

Now that it is Spring here I have rediscovered the joy of mowing my lawn and weeding every weekend again.

^ Agree about Lang Park. Best stadium ever! I'm seeing Bon Jovi there in December...should be interesting seeing how it converts to a music venue! I went to Brookvale Oval a week ago. It was good to be at an oldskool ground with a grass bank to sit on but the wait for the beers was awful! On the upside, they sold heavy beers in cans. On the downside, the heavy beer turned into light (not mid) beer at half time.

I rediscovered running yesterday during the Bridge to Brisbane. 12 months since my last run (same event) and today I can barely walk, let alone traverse sets of stairs. OUCH.

I went to pick my son up from his mate's place the other week and he was playing Die Hard on his friend's dad's Sega Saturn. He had about 20 games too - could probably make a mint on ebay...

I have been getting into table top games after about 20yr hiatus. Been playing Warhammer 40K every weekend for the last month.

Yea i was thinking of putting it on Ebay to see what i could get after Cash Converters offered me $30 for the console...Fuck that.

As for the table top game's, i used to play LOTR SBG but quit cause i was wasting so much $$$.
