One of the most amazing experiences I've had was the first time my girlfriend and I went to Amsterdam and took mushrooms together.We had been out and about during the day just soaking up the atmosphere of all the coffee shops and bars. That in itself is pretty cool But nothing could prepare us for what lye in wait Once we had found out that you could get mushrooms form various shops around the city we decided to get some I had never taken them before, I'd had various other drugs mainly weed and estacy. My girlfriend had taken mushrooms once before and was keen to try them again.
So we went back to the hotel and ate a bag each, they where pretty awful to take, I don't like normal mushrooms so they were pretty hard to get down, but we did it. So we chilled in the hotel room for a while before deciding to venture out to find a nice little coffee shop to relax in. So we order a couple of coffees and smoked one or two of joints, just sat chatting and soaking up the atmosphere, pretty much forgetting that we had taken the mushrooms
Some time had passed,not sure how long so ordered another coffee went to the gents and sat down again it was then That I noticed the music had been turned up and all the people in the coffee shop where kind of dancing to the tune all in perfect symmetry, I watched some people play pool it was like I was inside a computer game that I used to play. By this time the trip had really kicked in and we both stared to get a bit overwhelmed so we decided to go outside. How amazing, the streets where so full of light and energy people gong past everything in a rush, My girlfriend and I not part of it, now in our own alternative reality devoid of worry,so happy and blissful, all the streets where pulsing the roads the cars the people all breathing in tune, and us now just mere observers on a higher plain
We went to a food market I remember saying to my girlfriend come look at these cakes they are amazing, huge But no she said you can only look at them don't eat them I think looking back it was a reference to Alice in wonderland. That is pretty much what it felt like A truly magical beautiful natural experience Full of marvelous sounds and visions something I will never forget and will treasure always
