after making a joke of this i actually began to wonder what would actually happen if you dropped your weeks worth of methadone

Would you get another script from your doctor for that week or would you be screwed ?
 
u would prob. go thru a hell of withdrawals...but im sure u would find something on the streets if that was the case .... yea and i doubt they would give u more im sure people try to pull shit like that all the time
 
Depends on alot of things. Obviously if you managed to drop and spill some doses like somewhere where you can like show them here it is, otherwise it's kinda like how can you be so stupid as to spill your doses, alot more likely that someone is scamming to get more methadone, than say someone literally spilling multiple doses lol.

For things like say for example you vomit your dose 5 minutes after leaving the clinic, some clinics will just redose you (half your dose if there's anal staff) if you get back to them fast enough.

Mostly it's different everywhere, usually comes down to whether people genuinely believe you, or whether they think you're pulling some scam on them. But seriously though, how would you drop and spill a weeks worth of methadone? You'd have to be pretty careless, like you know it's the one drug you need to survive, you aint gunna drop it.. So yeah if you were silly enough to spill/lose a few doses of methadone i think you'd be putting everyone in a pretty awkward position.

But yeah generally vomitting is different, one time i vomitted my dose 10 minutes after leaving the clinic, i called them up right away, they said because i called up straight away they would give me half my dose again.
 
I dunno ive never done it but i bet some people have actually done it before, just like how people dont mean to drop or spill other shit they still do it

If they dropped the actual bottle of a weeks worth as they were leaving the chemist it would smash , well here anyway cos its glass

I just wondered if anyone here had actually been in that situation and wondered what happened out of sheer curiosity
 
yea that happend to me, i was adding some water to the bottle they give u fer yer take home in, and wen it was geting full to the top i went to turn off the water and i turned the water on full blast, twisted it the wrong way spraying all the red methadone out of the bottle, and i was left with basically a tiny bottle of water with maybe a few mgs of done left in ther, it was hardley even pink so drank what was left in the bottle and tried to soak up the shit that sprayed all over with some paper towels and squeeze them into my mouth so if it happens to u basically yer fucked bro, be careful cause no one is gona believe yer story even if it is true i just had to suffer till monday untill i could get my dose from the clinic wen yer a junky on methadone u could be the most trust worth honest person in the whole world but cause u did drugs and use methadone yer labled as scum and knowone will belive a thing u say so yer word is shit now even tho yer trying to get yer life back on track

...rotflmao... I actually used this as an excuse when I had used too much bupe one week. I told them that during 'spring cleaning' of the apartment, I must have made a mistake, and tossed out my medicine... Because it was gone, and how else could it be gone? And they gave me more... lol... so it works, just gotta believe it yourself I guess.
 
We aren't here to tell you how to get more medicine from you doctor. Mistakes happen to everyone, and depending on how sympathetic your doctor/clinic is, they may help you out. THe best thing you can do is simply CALL THEM and explain to them what happened. Be truthful, and sincere. At worst you'll just have to either wait, or go to the streets.

THis happened to me once when I lost a bunch of xanax and I told my doc that I was goign to withdraw and if he couldn't help me, I would have to go to the streets and I didn't want to do that. My doctor is cool so he helped me out.

Call them, ask. That's all we can tell you.
 
BDP summed this up well; I'm closing this thread.

Accidents happen; most doctors will just inform you to be extremely careful with your medication, and to lock them up in a fire-proof, water-proof safe. This is to prevent theft of your medication as well as accidental destruction/contamination.
