Benzos What happened?

SWIM got drug tested this morning. SWIM took 1.5mg of klonopin at about 4:00pm yesterday. He was drinking a lot of water that night, then woke up and drank a lot more. Piss was pretty clear, but only failed on thc. What happened? Do benzos get out of you system that quick at a small dose, or was it because of the water?
