Misc what happened to the original search bar ?

Ok a few weeks ago when ever i wanted to search something i just typed it in some search bar on the homepage or pretty much anypage. I am not talking about that little search box in the right-upper part of the screen, but there was some long search bar that was connected to google or something everytime you got search results. Now its impossible to search for anything, what the hell happened with that search bar?

How do you guys look for something now ? i cant just browse through all the forums, before i just typed in a word and a bunch of related forums came up. ???

I already asked this in support. They said that it significantly slowed down the loading time of BL.

I too heavily relied on that feature. You're talking about the Google Custom Search Bar right?
