I 'm an old timer and from the new York area. The herion and cocaine have been so bad for the past 10 yrs I would say. Does anyone know if they are cutting or growing it differently ?Does anyone agree that theres know euphoria when doing these drugs anymore just a physical speedy feeling with the coke and the herion doesn't even give me energy anymore.I wonder if its just my area or other places are experiencing the same things or similar to. Heroin is so bad now.About 20 years ago,the quality was much better.About 40 percent at the time.In the early 1990's,they started to cut heroin with manitol(in Germany).Since then it got worse and worse...By this time,you can't even smoke that shit....Fortunately I'm on methadone,prescribed.

You're not buying in the right places.
Heroin is cheaper and of higher average purity level than it was a few decades ago. Even over the last 10-15 years it's gotten better and cheaper. There's been a bunch of articles about this and I'm sure there's a number of people on here who would be able to say the same.
It's been 9.5 years since I first did heroin and prices have stayed the same or in some areas decreased. Purity has seemed to have gotten better. There's still some weaker batches sometimes, but on average it's better than I remember it being when I was first started using frequently. As with all drugs it's going to depend on how good your connections are. I've only done it a handful of times, but anytime I copped on the street it's always been surprisingly good quality.

As far as coke goes, people fucking ruined that by stepping on it too much. There still is really good coke out there, but it really depends on your connection. I've only met one person that had really amazing cocaine and that was 5 or 6 years ago now. I'm definitely not involved in that scene as much as I am with heroin or weed, but if I were to go about trying to get some coke it will most likely only be decent at best. If you're buying it off the street it's probably going to be shitty. I don't see much powder being sold on the street though. Around here it's mainly just rocks.
Even though people would make somewhat less per kilo, I feel like cocaine sales would be better if there was an increase in quality. I think they'd be able to sell more and sell it quicker than they currently do. The time I did have an actual good cocaine connect is when I realized how good cocaine really was. Prior to that I could never understand how so many people got addicted to it and how it was so popular in the 70's and 80's. This was the only time I ever had a problem with cocaine. Worked up to doing about a gram a day for the final 2 weeks before I finally stopped. The first time I had gotten high on that coke was with a match-head sized bump that was on the end of a house key. So doing a gram was quite a bit. Really the only reason I stopped was because the guy stopped getting the good coke after he had gotten fucked up on oxy and blew all his money on it.

Yummm! I can personally vouch for Trinidad's superb cocaine. I've got extended family there, and I always make sure I'm sufficiently coked and benumbed the moment I alight from the aeroplane at Piarco. Really, some of the very best cocaína north of the Equator.

As for the deplorable cocaine quality for the last 10 years, I think crack is the only game in town now. The last 8-ball of soft I bought wasn't even really suitable to be snorted.

Dont know about the states but in Europe thats definitely the case. Compared to 10+years ago it is cr*p. Not much to do with contacts. I mean sure, with the right person(very difficult) you can get purer stuff but it costs a hell of a lot more.The same stuff that used to be the norm. Now its something very hard to obtain and is expensive like gold.
