while i myself would never have rolled while in school, the posters who are flaming the people that do are just making themselves look like inconsiderate assholes. if you dont agree with it fine but dont say you would narc them out. i hope someone finds out you are rolling at a house or somewhere and they call the cops on you. see how you like that shit. i used to smoke weed and go to school and graduated just fine. if they wanna get high its there choice. thats two faced as hell and so hypocritical of you to say that they shouldnt do it there, but then you run right out the next weekend and consume some at a show or at a party. assholes like you should not take the drug at all.

You can't tell the difference between school and a party? Really? Why don't you roll at your job tomorrow morning, it obviously shouldn't matter as long as you are enjoying your roll right? It's not hypocritical at all, unless your standards of respect for the education system is placed at the same level as that of a concert or a party. Not that you can even compare the two as one is for entertainment and the other is for education, but you're the one trying to make the correlation between the two.

I'm not going to deny that it isn't self righteous to rat someone out at school, but frankly I'm tired of idiots in general, not just the ones who take ecstasy.

(May I also note that the ones who've been trying to justify using ecstasy at school were also the ones not too recently making threads about whether it was a good idea or not that they were rolling every weekend doing several a night).

It feels like the majority of the recent threads that I've read have been about how can we justify abusing the drug instead of trying to prevent the abuse of said drug. Some of these posters chime in with, "Oh it's ok to do every weekend, nothing has ever happened to me" when it's clearly not ok to do it that often in general. Another one "Oh it's ok to do at school as long as you are enjoying yourself", - -. Yea, wait until you get caught buddy.

I LOVE learning, but I have learned way more since I've been out of school then I ever did in school, short of basic arithmetic and grammar and such, and to be honest I learned most of that from my parents. I actually went to college to be a teacher, but couldn't morally go through with it once I started doing the student teaching. If you LOVE education, a public school is not a good place for you.

Now you are going off topic, education as a whole is being spat on, not the system itself. It'll be the same thing if he were to roll at a private school where it turns out 100% college acceptance compared to a public school in the city with only a 10% turn out. In other words, I met an actual Narc on his bad day, bad luck for me then. Not that it would be anything serious as I am not selling or have possession. There are people in school who will rat you out, ecstasy user or not, just bad luck or due to your own stupidity for doing it in a setting where you will be more likelier to get caught.

It is affecting me believe it or not, I don't want to go to a school and see a bunch of druggies drugged out in the library or in class. That is not conducive towards a constructive learning environment, it's not about just hitting the books it's also about the community at the school.

Tons of my friends brought water bottles filled with vodka to high school. One of my friends took Xanax and went to school and doesn't even remember any part of the day. I never ever would get on my high horse and tell them not to do drugs at school whether it be alcohol, weed, ecstasy, or heroin. If I am concerned for a friend who I am seeing is having difficulties struggling with a drug I will lovingly try to help that person, but otherwise i'm staying the hell out of their business.

An actual Narc would be a Narcotics officer, that's where the slang Narc originates. I do believe I have some say since I am paying for my schooling or being paid to do a good job, especially if it's in an involved team environment which my career entails. But it's all relative with many factors involved. If I was going into a career as a lifeguard then I would rat my colleagues out in an instant but if I were going into a career as a night security patrol at a fast food restaurant I wouldn't give half a crap if you were intoxicated.

i roll once a month now. one month i rolled three times, including twice in 8 days, and it sorta fucked me over so i made the decision to stick to once a month. tomorrow im rolling (at school) for the first time in 33 days.
