What great band have you just discovered?

anyone else get the feeling that Closer and Unknown Pleasures were recorded in a garbage can or is this the shitty copies I have on my iPod?

If your copies are obscuring the brilliant production schemes of those two albums, I suggest you get your hands on better copies. There's obviously a lo-fi aesthetic at work, but "Unknown Pleasures" has such a huge sense of space to it. As for "Closer," the bassline for "A Means To An End" should be jumping from your speakers.

I have no idea what caused the shitty sound quality I complained about earlier, but today's listenings to Unknown Pleasures sounded wonderful. :D

Mad Marge and the Stonecutters. Another good psychobilly band, in fact most of the bands I have been finding recently are psychobilly, I fucking love it.

I am listening to her at the moment. It is beautiful. Good recommendation PiPpa ;).

I discovered them about a six months ago, and have been obsessed ever since - Ghostland Observatory - kind of indie-electro-dance'ish type genre. Whatever that may be.

^shrugs^

Oh, and The Faint. I know they are not new by any stretch. But they are new to me. And they are fucking cool!
