what gives you more euphoria lsd or mdma

mdma is more in your face euphoria, unable to avoid, rushing body orgasmic feelings.

on lsd though it could be the opposite of euphoric at times, when i have the actual euphoria it feels like i have a bunch of energy inside of me and im a kid again and im gigglingmy fucking ass off and everything is ok in the world. not forced, but much more rewarding and much more real feeling.

its hard to say which has "more" euphoria, we might have different definitions of the word- on mdma there is probably more(quantitative) euphoria, but on lsd the euphoria it gives is the happiest ive ever felt (qualititative). the thing about lsd is that you cant go into it looking for euphoria and get it out the other side quite as easily as you can with mdma.

you should search around a lil, im sure someone has asked this question (or something similar) before.

i would say it varies depending on personal preference.
mdma is very intense when the magic is still there, i did too much too fast, so it began losing said magic.
lsd is great, feels amazing
it'll probably depend on what you like
mdma has a more intense rushing kind of feeling, but lsd can feel similar at times.
together, uh, uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
i got chills thinking about it

^ I clearly remember my first candyflip (MDMA+LSD). It was a beautiful experience I'll never forget. It was the intelligent, creative, beautiful thoughts of LSD but warm and loved up and rushy.

I haven't used MDMA, so I can't comment. But with LSD the amount of euphoria you have can vary depending on your set and setting. Personally I think find that Cannabis + LSD is very euphoric as the LSD amplifies the euphoria of the Cannabis. Also it's a good mix because Cannabis is far less harmful than MDMA.

Just a warning to any one reading the weed and LSD combo can be very difficult and painful.

MDMA with magic wins, hands down.
I dont think Ive even experienced what I'd call euphoria on LSD.

I love both, acid being top of the list but it's definitely MDMA that gives a more euphoric high. There are times when on acid euphoria is insane, but if you really compare the two of them MDMA provides a strong, unavoidable one every time. It is after all what makes MDMA such a renowned drug.

Yeah for the average person (especially someone inexperienced with psychedelics) on their average experience the answer is definitely MDMA. As SpecialK says amazing euphoria is what MDMA does as a standard effect, you really cant say that about LSD at all.

Mdma is most euphoric and recreational ime, but lsd has that magic that nothing else can touch!
I agree be very careful having lsd and weed!! Any slight paranoia from weed whicj normally u might not even notice will be amplified 1000% and when your minds as delicate as it is when your tripping its really not good! Seriously! Ill never make that mistake again, a horrible downward spiral!

In my experience, the two compounds give a different kind of euphoria. \
MDMA to me feels light and even superficial. It feels like a drug induced euphoria.
LSD, on the other hand, seems to bestow a deep sort of happiness. It feels like the endless feelings of love and well-being are coming from somewhere deep inside me, rather than from the excess amounts of seratonin and dopamine in my brain.

I like LSD much more, especially because of the aftereffects. MDMA drains me; LSD lifts me for days, even weeks after a trip. (:

With my experiences I would go with LSD. I gave L a break for after a difficult trip at Eric Clapton's Crossroads fest last year, (way to dehydrated/hot) Since then I had probably rolled ten times or more and became extremely familiar with it's effects. A month or so ago I dropped a tab and was AMAZED how much stronger the euphoria was then on MDMA. It may be I'm losing the magic a little but NOTHING (roll wise) has compaired to the feelings I got on the LSD.

That's another reason that LSD is better I think; MDMA quickly builds tolerance. Or, at least, ecstasy does. I can never again experience the initial level of euphoria from my very first roll, but I've had much better experiences than my first dose of LSD.

I think they each have special traits, LSD makes me realize all is possible and gives me endless amounts of energy and good vibes radiating. MDMA makes me feel ultimatley happy and overjoyed, real good connection with other people and physical stimulation feels amazing too. Both kinda different but very special, I'd say LSD is my favorite for sure though.

While I prefer to trip alone (because it affords me a deeper and more intense experiment), I have always felt good socializing on psychadelics. More so than stimulants even I think.

It's not a fair contest, you cannot really compare apples and oranges like that even though you might think "euphoria is euphoria". Yes MDMA can give more in-your-face euphoria that is IMO absolutely one of the best feelings in the world. But it is not that often very natural. Due to the mechanism of action there is a generic feeling of euphoria produced however incredible it may feel. What can be more incredible than euphoria though is euphoria combined with a feeling of deeper meaning, a special moment that has a real reason to be special. Ah, there's the rub.

LSD often makes me grin like a fool when I'm coming up but like with many others there is definitely not a guarantee of amplified positivity. There can be confusion, strongly neutral feelings of acceptance and many many other types of emotions, the most beautiful of which is the mystical. That is my opinion, and also that of another certain celebrity.
The most beautiful emotion we can experience is the mystical. It is the fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science. - Albert Einstein

So what is truly euphoric. Hedonistic well-being in a single perfect moment or your life coming together wonderfully in synchronistic apex? To be clear: I think both compounds can be an aid in both kinds of experiences, but MDMA has an easier tendency to be the fun that it automatically is most of the time, while LSD has a more specific potential to be a catalyst for the mystical.

Personally, the emotion you describe as mystic feels more to me like contentment, and has a much less emotion involved. It is almost an acceptance, but much more profound. The euphoria I feel is like the giddy non-stop smiles you mentioned, but the smiles still come from a deeper rooted place than the superficial MDMA overjoy euphoria.
