2,3,9,11,12,13. (thirteen is given in terms of separate experiences where I have felt none of the above. Two & Three are stretching my interpretation of what you meant.)

I think the room seeming brighter can be due to pupil dilation.

I've experienced all of the symptoms I've listed there (out of those you provided) on meth.

1,5,6,9,12. High quality crystal meth FTW, unfortunately MN is sorely lacking in this

This seems kinda goofy...

You can look up on wikipedia what the effects of drugs are.

You just post like 20 different symptoms man. I dunno, does anyone else think this is kind of goofy?

I can't believe how many people know this SWIM guy. He must be really damn popular.

To the OP: Yes, stimulants alter my perception. Do they make me feel nostalgic (which is what is seems like you are describing)? Maybe sometimes. I'm always thinking about places/people/memories from my past though, so I think they just intensify it.

Fun thread.

1) Surroundings look/feel more vivid and 3-dimensional: Somewhat.
2) Surroundings have altered ambiences that seem closer to those from other times and places in your life: No.
3) Surroundings have altered ambiences as if you are a somewhat different person: Somewhat.
4) Surroundings have altered ambiences in a way other than (2) or (3): No.
5) Surroundings look/feel brighter: Yes. (pupil dialation)
6) Light seems brighter: Yeah, they starburst in effect too, from pupil dialation.
7) Flashbacks to previous times in your life: No way!
8 ) Dream-like or hallucinatory flashbacks (to previous times in your life): No!
9) Feelings of wakefulness combined with serenity: YES!
10) Feelings of wakefulness with agitation: No.
11) Feelings of wakefulness with neither (9) or (10): YES!
12) A "feeling of lightness": YES!
13) None of the above: I feel like the best description to describe a clean stimulant experience is: consumed in a thick liquid of mind numbing nothingness.

SWIM dosnt think that oxy is a stim, but swim rails oxy and things look more 3d to him,

lol he snorts oxy and things look more 3-D? Thats an odd effect. I find oxy does not effect my vision unless i take a dose that i can nod off of.

But yeah alot of these effects you mentioned i also get off speed. I find it does makes everything seem a bit brighter and obviously does give me some degree of agitation.

1) Surroundings look/feel more vivid and 3-dimensional YES.. Trees seem more green and fuller and the sky seems to be closer like I can touch the clouds

2) Surroundings have altered ambiences that seem closer to those from other times and places in your life YES (above)

3) Surroundings have altered ambiences as if you are a somewhat different person Not so much.

4) Surroundings have altered ambiences in a way other than (2) or (3) not really, but then again, Im indoors when I mix (ativan and my opiates)

5) Surroundings look/feel brighter Yup

6) Light seems brighter Yup. MyTV has a "Night" setting that lowers the brightness and contrast, which I tend to use alot.

7) Flashbacks to previous times in your life NO Thank God (Ex Military and would rather NOT have this effect).

8) Dream-like or hallucinatory flashbacks (to previous times in your life) NO, But I did try Chantrix to quit smoking and it gave me real nasty flashback dreams of Somalia and Desert Bowl 1.

9) Feelings of wakefulness combined with serenity Yes, but only if low doses of oxy are taken.

10) Feelings of wakefulness with agitation Sometimes, but only if someone bothers me while im on them.

11) Feelings of wakefulness with neither (9) or (10) No

12) A "feeling of lightness" Yes

13) None of the above --

Poll Added.

Normall we dont do polls, so this is our test run. If it goes well, maybe we can do more in the future. If it doesnt..well, we wont.

Remember when voting the results are public. This is also a multiple choice poll.

I feel stimulated lol.

Put me down for everything except "Feelings of wakefulness with agitation" and "Feelings of wakefulness with neither (9) or (10)" while I am on Ecstasy. For anything else I feel like absolute shit unless I combine the stimulant I am using with heroin for a speed ball. I actually will not do coke or speed without heroin to ensure I feel amazing.

2) Surroundings have altered ambiences that seem closer to those from other times and places in your life
3) Surroundings have altered ambiences as if you are a somewhat different person
9) Feelings of wakefulness combined with serenity

Note these are therapeudic doses of d-amph (no more than 25mg/day.)
