What d'you think of alcohol?

alcohol doesn't lift my mood at all.
it just makes me loud and dizzy.
still drink it though ;)
 
I don't really like alcohol so much... For me, it's somethin to do when there is nothin else to do. If I do drink, I'm sippin on some really strong liquor, 151, Everclear, somethin flammable. I find that most alcohol drinks tastes like shit so if I'm gonna drink its gonna be somethin that fucks me up quick. Beer takes waaay to long, by the time I'm buzzin my stomach's full and that sucks. I'd take a joint over a shot any day...

But I will drink wine or champagne on certain occasions, like a date with my girl or something. I do like wine and champagne, in my opinion its the only alcoholic beverage with a decent % that tastes alright. Actually, some wines I've tried tasted really good... Oh, and martinis. Ever since my dad showed me how to make a martini when I was like nine or ten, I've loved those.
 
Alcohol? I dislike the effects, the side effects, the stomach discomfort, the taste, the smell, the negative effect on society and public safety. The only thing I like about alcohol is the calming/anxiolytic effect but there are benzos for that which are far more enjoyable too.

I don't understand how people get addicted to this stuff. But everybody reacts differently to drugs so maybe for other people it's as good as any drug can be.
 
My days of heavy drinking are long over. I find alcohol to be expensive, not a great high, and very dirty/sloppy feeling. I like having a drink or two, but very rarely more.

Also, alcohol is really overrated to me. I really dislike hearing people talk about how wasted they were last night and what stupid things they did while drunk. The social acceptance of alcohol frustrates me when the side-effects and dangers are so obvious.

HAHAHAH! I think that sometimes as well! Or when walking into the liquor isle in a grocery store I think "Wow, look at the amount of drugs I could buy! No dealer, no cops, just get it and go."
 
^Tooootally (aimed at bromance). Alcohol is one of the worst things you can put in your system, and people don't see that. I'd trust a stoned driver over a drunk driver any day.

BTW, whenever I see your screenname I think of the 'Bro Rape' YouTube Video. Funny shit, if you've experience with college dorms and asshole frat boys.
 
Liked it in HS, but then began to dislike alcohol when I was doing oxy and heroin, and I hated it when I was on suboxone.

When I finally got off suboxone, alcohol was a nice welcome back into inebriation. It's a great social lubricant, socially accepted, and it's a lot of fun to go out and have a few drinks with people.
 
I keep a bottle of 151 next to my bed at all times to drink so I can sleep. Thats about the only use it got for me. Jus as a "emergency" intoxication, cuz fuck sober. But, I aint a big fan of drinkin, Shit dont get me the way I want to feel.

If i aint got dope or other opiates , and if im low/out of bud, I drink every night as much as I can til I pass out. Only prob is the last time i went to the liquor store i ditn have enough for high proof so i got the cheapest vodka I could find, but it dont do the trick after you get used to the good shit. Oh well, I got money today so Ima reup the emergency stash soon.
 
i love alcohol i binged on it for 2 months straight ... that alogn with a coke addiction lol, but alcohol is good , always have a good time with ppl when you drink and its LEGAL! so u dont give a shit who sees ur ass drunk in public

Yeah, I hear you on that. Getting blind drunk is always my last resort when I'm desperate.

Still, I find alcohol a must for when I'm on benzos or coming down off stimulants. I also like it with opiates if the alcohol is drunk just when the op is wearing off. All in all, I love the shit. It's a very versatile substance, I don't think I could live without beer. ;)
 
It's made me do all the worst things in my life and none of the best... It turns me in to someone else and made me do things to give me a crim record. I hate it.. It should be banned. :)

Wish I'd found pills before I managed to turn in to an alcoholic.
