What drugs To Run Up your Nose? Which Not to?

Get a nasonex spray bottle or something, in medicine, that is how you administer drugs into the nose.
 
There are bioavailability megathreads that already have this info. Otherwise, google 'bioavailability of X drug nasal' or somesuch. Be aware that some ER formulations are really hard to break, making it basically silly to snort them, you'd get better effect just eating them, perhaps in higher doses.

Not to be the drug snob asshole, but does snorting focalin even do a damned thing?? Heh.
 
^I would imagine it does the same thing as eaten, but it takes effect faster.

I would just go on a drug to drug basis. When you come across something, for safeties sake you should research the drug you are going to consume. It also is a good way to make sure you get the most out of the drug and know what dose to use to best enjoy it. You can get most the info you need off a wikipedia page and erowid.org's page for the particular drug (oh and just google search it [top left corner] on this website to find bevies of further information). I also like to use drugs.com to look up interactions for medications(this is imprtant considering you are on prescription medication), this can easily be done just by googling "X med interactions" and clicking the first link, it provides a full list of interactions (mild, moderate, severe) and if you click on the medication name it will tell you why it is an interaction.

Things to look for include, bioavailability of different routes of administration (ROAs), duration of effects (erowid often has a nice graph showing come up, peak, plateau, come down, after effects.), half life, interactions, usual starting dose, etc.

To find BAs for certain meds using routes considered of abuse (snort, plug), you might need to search around and the answers might not be nothing more than anecdotal. Its safe to say if you find a thread on here where the vast majority are saying 'don't snort, its pointless/wasteful or burns like battery acid', then take their word for it :\ .

Also, don't make the decision to do drugs just based on whether it is "snortable", that is most certainly not a criteria for if something is "recreational".
 
benzos (xanax, valium, ativan, konopin) CANNOT be snorted, they are not water soluble therefore will not be absorbed in your mucous membranes in ur nose, it will just leak down ur throat into ur stomach.

as far as opiate pills...lortabs, percocets, or anything with APAP (tylenol) in it DO NOT SNORT, it will block ur membranes from them absorbing. the only opiate pills worth snorting are: oxycontin (old formula) Opana (original formula) Dilaudid. morphine is a waste snorting dont bother. methadone is a waste dont bother. suboxone subutex is good to snort in low doses.

speed: Adderall-waste, too many fillers and binders will just plug ur nose, high will be shortened and feel too much like cocaine.
Ritalin-Definately worth snorting!

nowadays most opiate pills have abuse proof formula preventing abuse..so nt many worth snorting or IVing

False. They get absorbed in the mucous membrane of the nose.

You realise that these pills are basically the same in terms of weight : active ingredient? You're contradicting yourself.

Simple way to handle this... google; "*name of drug* bioavailability snorted, IV, oral", choose method with highest BA. For many of us I think the list narrows or widens depending on how willing we are to IV or plug something lol. Most people will snort,swallow ;D
 
To answer your question sir, I would have to say Oxymorphone (opana) is my DOC for up the nose. Has the most warm feeling, that of heroin but imo I like it even more up the schnozz than oxycodone/contin or heroin. Doses of opana should be taken with extreme care and started off with extremely low because it is much stronger than oxycodone and imo has done just as good if not better than any H I have done intranasally

I disagree with your last statement about not many worth snorting (opiates). Obviously aceta filled ones are not good to snort, but just because there are anti abuse formulas out there for a lot of the opiates doesn't mean they aren't worth snorting. Most are just harder to break down in to powder to snort and they gel up, but with a pinch of baking soda this can help prevent that, along with a few other ways. Seen new formula oxycontin and opanas snorted just fine when done correctly for a very intense euphoric buzz. You just need to know what your doing.

How is that benzos are absorbed into your mucous membranes when snorted if they aren't even water soluble? How is my statement false? They will go into your nasal passageway and leak right down your throat into your stomach in which by the way they have a high oral bio, they will just plug the membranes and whatever inert ingredients that are water soluble will absorb, but not the clonazepam, maybe to a minimal tiny degree, but in general, no......correct me wrong with a legit source ?
