What drugs have you injected?

^^ haha yeah I always get a nasty numbie when shooting coke or crack, its the 1st sign i hit a vein and it was good shit, a numbie from inside of my tounge outward, so weird..

"I was on a car ride home, very sick, I tried spit first and it wasnt to watery, no way in hell it would have worked, orange and grape soda was all we had, and I figured out of the two orange would be better."

Hahaha I love how you just figured orange would be better for you somehow.. I had to shotup with mountain dew once and I've never been able to hit in that vein again, kinda sucks.

I've shot coke, coke base/crack, heroin and coke and heroin together.
Also kolonopin and xanax with heroin, used a few drops of captain morgans to dissolve it. Tell me it dosen't work all you want, I felt it, as long as I added alcohol to the mix..

Try searchin for similar words in the search engine before u start a thread like this...if you can think of it, someone else prolly already thought of it too. So for example youd try typing "inject" "IV" "Injected" "shoot" "shoot up" "shot up" etc, and u will get results, u just gotta branch out n not just search one exact word or you might not find the same thread that been already done, but the poster just worded it different, you feel me. So im mergin this with "what drugs have you injected"

OK, I don't want to start a whole new thread for such a little question so I hope you don't mind.
How long is it normal to experience pain in the general injection site after use?
 
Methamphetamine
Amphetamine
Ketogan
Heroin
Oxy
Morphine
Cocaine
Methadone

I think thats all of them

If it's causing any pain, then you are almost undoubtedly doing something wrong. Injecting into a vein doesn't hurt - well, if you use ridiculous amounts of citric it does, but that tends to be more of a macho moron thing to do. Make sure that you are actually in the vein itself and haven't gone through it - very easy to do. Circulate sites and use big veins - the little fellas come in handy a few years down the line when the big boys have all collapsed :\.

The only time I've experienced any pain is when I've missed the vein or hit an artery - both of which you'll know about instantly, I can assure you. If the pain has only made its presence felt sometime later, then it could be an infection. It's difficult to say without knowing all the details, but pain is generally your body's way of telling you that something is amiss...

I'm sure there's plenty of advice on safe injecting all around this site. Be very careful :).

Its pills so I am using a solution that contains alcohol, perhaps could that be part of it? And maybe your right maybe I went clear through the vein...It really hurt when I did it and 12 hours later if it touch it or bend my arm...

Pills as in pharms? If so, I think we have the solution. The shite to be found in pills is a nightmare for injecting and causes the amputation of more limbs than you'd like to think... This is why I don't inject pharms anymore. I've never had trouble injecting pills of the MDMA variety though...

Alcohol stings if it misses the vein, but shouldn't last for hours.

It sounds to me like you've just missed a little. It's very easy to do - you get blood when you pull back, but you've already, and unwittingly, pierced the vein a bit further along so some solution leaks out and causes inflammation. Practice and care is the only answer.

It should settle down in a day or two, but if it turns pussy (as in yellow gunk, not cowardly :|) then it'll need draining - just as much fun as it sounds :D. The solution is not to inject pills and stick to powders - but obviously that's a lot easier said than done... :\

Benzos... not smart I know, but personally I'm not at a point that I care. I suggest a look at my journal if interesting.

^ Quite understand - had the odd IV benzo dalliance myself. Hard times is hard times and whatever it takes to get you through is fine by me. I hope you're in a happier place soon so you can ask questions about safely shooting good stuff instead :D <3 :D.

Well apparently I'm not the only one stupid enough to shoot pills...and the alcohol you have to use with them...no offense.
 
-Oxymorphone (the best, far and away, no doubt what-so-ever)
-Hydromorphone (all about the rush; 10min after the shot you'll be like "that's it?")
-Morphine (eventually had to do so much that side-effects weren't worth the high)
-Oxycodone (no rush, and don't see why people like shooting this so much?)
-Fentanyl (pretty cool b/c you nod hard, but no rush)
-Diacetylmorphine (honestly, I was disappointed...)
-Ativan (it was in an IV vial from a hospital)
-Valium (same as Ativan - hospital vial)
-Promethazine (from hospital IV vial; burns but no more opiate nausea!)
-Diphenhydramine (hospital IV vial; same effects as promethazine)
-DMT (no words can start to describe it)
-Methamphetamine (an okay rush, but I don't like stims that much)
-Dextroamphetamine (no different than snorting/eating)
-Amphetamine (didn't enjoy)

Probably more, but I can't really think of anymore off the top of my head...

A few months ago I shot a fucking phenergan pill, the solution was clouds and blue too, how sad. thankfully I dont use needles anymore but fark when your desperate you do some pretty stupid things. Im in italy atm and I signed a petition for kids with addiction and AIDS, the guy that I signed the petition for was so fucking hot, but then he put his hand up to shake mine and 2 of his fingers were gone!!! Im guessing it was either from gangrene but my mum reckons it was from the mafia cutting them off as it was your 2 most important fingers(index and middle finger) coz supposedly alot more of his hand would be gone if it were gangrene, but it just made me think twice again about using coz ive been having meth cravings lately, thankfully I met this guy, top bloke.

By all means have fun guys but dont forget to be careful. :D take it easy peeps.
