What drugs have you done in the past week?

I am a 'reformed' drug user after 7 years on class 'A's. I now work for N.A.C.R.O. (National Association for the Care and Rehabilitation of Offenders) and 'Barnet Drug Concern' in London and I have chosen my last appointment yesterday (was off work today) as an average example of drug use on a council estate in London.
This is for a 49 yr old male;
caffeine
nicotine
diazepam (prescribed)
dihydrocodeine (prescribed)
cannabis resin
crack cocaine
heroin (smoked)
alcohol (strong lager 9%!)
(I believe this to be true as I have a particularly good relationship with this man, having got him into housing. He is due to go into re-hab in few days! To be honest though I don't think he will go! His main poison in my opinion is alcohol but when he wakes each morning, (at least I got him a roof!) he has the choice of sitting alone in a small, run down flat or going out onto the streets (I think he buys beer every morning) where he immediately comes into contact with people who are already high, preparing to get high, drunk etc.
His criminal record prevents him from almost all legitimate work and even volunteer work as it includes violence.
Catch 22!
If he does not enter R.H. he faces a D.T.O. (Drug Treatment Order) which will result in his imprisonment if he tests positive!
This 'system' is not just useless, it is positively dangerous .

No teen angst, just getting sick of all these people saying that if you're a certain age you shouldn't do this, this and that drug. I mean it's a drug, your age doesn't make any difference on how the drug affects you and if I'm mature enough to handle *insert "hard" drug here* (which I feel I am) then what difference does it make how old I am.
 
Mushrooms, coke, weed, xanax, alcohol and I've been eating In-N-Out everyday, that might be worse for me than the drugs

I was your age once, and doing exactly what you did. You can only live life by experience, so I say go for the gusto, don't listen to what anybody here has to say because they are all a bunch of commies anyway :)

There isn't an age where people start using drugs, that is the best part about them - you don't have to be 21 to purchase :)

You forget your brain is still developing, is it really wise to be fucking with neurotoxic drugs (amphetamines) and opiod receptors (oxycodone) while your brain / personality are still developing.
 
Yeah, that is tru, but like DJAcetone said all 16 yr olds do stuff like this, and anyway, hes the 16yr old, 16yr olds r meant to be doin drugs, its wot they do! (i kno i did!).

N e way........drugs in the past week: Weed, alcohol, magic mushrooms (one hell of a trip).

While that is true, it's not the reason most of these people are saying that teenagers shouldn't use "hard" drugs. Most of them are saying that someone my age shouldn't be using opiates or amps because there's simply no way a teenager could be mature enough to handle them. I agree with you (kinda) but not with them.
