There's thread is probably already covered, but I'd like an update as im curious to know what other people have prescribed to them on here.

Here's what I get.

Buprenorphine 8mg (SUBUTEX) - #60/month
for opiate dependency

Clonazepam 1mg (KLONOPIN) - #60/month
for RLS, anxiety, insomnia

Alprazolam 2mg (XANAX) - #60/month
for breakthrough anxiety

Promethazine 25mg - #120/month
for nausea, opiate adjunct

That's basically what I get.

I'm never getting on Methadone again.. it fucked me up BAD!
I was in SO much pain getting off the shit. I was on 120mg for 4 years!
I ended up in rehab 3 times.
I got clean for a little while, but life isnt the same without opiates! I'm NOT going to go through PAWS for the rest of my life..
I'm so happy I finally found a doctor who RX'd me subs.. Bupe is fucking awesome!!

I'm still using dope, smoking my Tar.. but it's so cool how it's not a problem NOT having dope at times.. thanks to subutex!!

How have you guys been?

That's basically it.

Methadone was the worst shit ever for me!

Not prescribed anything completely 100% healthy contributing member to society here! Largely because anything I was prescribed, basically nothing other then methadone/suboxone but ive been off any of that for a while, was not the type of medication people find themselves on forever. Once I found out my allergy medicine was a mild SSRI i stopped taking it.

I would never judge someone for wanting to stay on meds forever, its just not enough security for me. I didnt want to be on recovery meds forever because then you need to plan for that shit for life, my life is meant to be one free of any type of dependency or over reliance on any type of system. I would naturally assume the methadone clinic would inevitably fail me in its ability to dose me for some stupid reason and jeopardize my life, same with suboxone, so i got off of both as soon as i could.

My next goal is to have a day free of caffeine and weed as those are the only substances i use. Caffeine is the hardest ive gone days without smoking weed just never an extended period of time at 0mg of caffeine. If im sick or was out till sunrise i may not have any the following day but i dont count that.

Im not prescribed anything because im awesomely normal!

I'm an unhealthy contributing member to society...and definitely not normal. lol

As far a psychotropic medicines go, I've been on a variety of tranquilizers in the past...Xanax, valium, trazodone, hydroxyzine, ambien, you name it pretty much. Mostly prescribed for sleep issues. I'm not currently taking anything like that now, though.

I'm prescribed Temazepam for insomnia but I was on Lunesta in the past for the same reason. The Temazepam isn't helping though so I'm hoping to switch to a different benzodiazepine.

In the past I was on Klonopin and Xanax for anxiety/panic attacks. Now my doctor is trying to have me on a mixture of Gabapentin, Abilify and Hydroxyzine for my anxiety but they just aren't enough for me.

Vicodin, Flexeril and Zanaflex for back pain & muscle spasms.

I was actually thinking about giving temazepam a try. Have you tried Klonopin for insomnia? It's worked surprisingly well for me. Granted my benzo tolerance is almost non existent.

My tolerance is getting insanely high to Z-drugs so im trying not to make that same mistake with benzos!

Morphine, oxy, bromazepam & lorazepam atm. But my doc is retiring soon and idk how lenient the next one will be with the pain meds & benzos. It's for chronic pain caused by my scoliosis and pretty severe social anxiety.

I've never been on Klonopin directly for insomnia, just for anxiety and panic attacks. It was for a brief period of half a year, I was prescribed .5 then 1mg then up to 2mg at one point. Got Alprazolam and a new doc, saw I was feeling better and stopped prescribing it to me instead of taking me off of it. Only Temazepam and Lunesta for insomnia. One time Trazodone but I didn't like it. Lunesta knocked me out, anywhere from 45-60mg of Temazepam also has no effect on me. It's an odd thing..

I've taken up to 30mg of Ambien and have been fine as well. Doses of 10mg make people I know hallucinate/sleep-walk who are on it for sleep. I'd rather not be on z-drugs after seeing some things!

back in my PM days I got either 50 or 25 mcg/hr fentanyl patches. and 300mg of lyrica twice a day.

Nowdays I have no prescriptions and it is liberating to not have the stress of the bitch ass pharmacies being out of meds because the bitch ass DEA and go through withdrawals and have to drive to twenty different pharmacies at the end of each month then drive into the hood for dope when that fails....and have to bring in piss into the doctors office every month...so they wouldn't find out i smoked pot and take away my pain meds for my back that had gotten its spinal cord opened up and operated on, while being free to drink a 5th of vodka with my fentanyl....great prescription/pain treatment system we have.

I feel you. I've done more than my fair share of crazy shit on z-drugs, and unfortunately I've had a couple instances where I woke up to find an empty bottle... not fun. They're the only thing that works reliably for me though. I've heard temazepam is a really good hypnotic, so that's really surprising that those doses don't do anything for you.

I've tried almost every sleeping pill out there save for some benzos and barbs. I also didn't like trazadone. Flexeril, amitriptyline, and Seroquel all made me feel like a complete zombie, but I know Seroquel works for alot of people.

Seroquel works for me in very low doses, but I don't like it. At doses of 50-100mg, I see faint flashes of light in my vision and I get super tired in a short period of time. It kind of messes with my vision too. On top of that, they give me horrible RLS at night, so I end up tired but not comfortable enough to go to sleep! Ah!

I was prescribed 30mg Tenazepam capsules at one point, I could take 60-90mg and still be alert & awake enough to drive. I don't understand my body.

^ I didn't think that temazepam was that great either. Just a benzodiazepine like all the rest, the hypnotic effect wasn't any better than something like lorazepam IMO. (30 mgs was the only dose I ever took of it, though)

For me it's basically an issue of shutting down my mind. I actually thought that zolpidem worked pretty well in that regard...it's not really that strong of a sedative and if I chose to stay awake I could easily resist the urge to sleep, but it did do a good job of calming my mind so I could sleep if I so chose. It became one of my favorite drugs TBH, I took it for years. But ultimately I chose not to renew my prescription because I don't think that taking 10 mgs of zolpidem every single day of your life is healthy, and my insomnia got better anyway (a lot of it had to do with where I lived, too, with the extreme fluctuations of daylight in the far north)

Dextroamphetamine, 40 mg IR. I cannot even care about my name, self, material life identity without it.

2013 to present prescribed diazepam nightly for insomnia. Stopped filling it over half a year ago, now looking to replace it with mirtazapine for the same function. Have used mirtazapine in the past and know it won't fuck me up.

Valium is good for insomnia eh? I'll have to discuss trying that one out with my doc. Seems like I can't find anything that will put me to sleep.
