I'm going to a party tonight where I know I'm going to end up having sex but I've always had a problem with premature ejaculation. It's debilitating. I don't drink either so that's not an option (even though I know it helps).

Is there any drugs that I could go buy at the store to help (if not cure) premature ejaculation? I plan on smoking weed at the party also so if possible I'd like the two drugs to not interact.

I have a bottle of Effexor (my friends) and I've read that SSRI's help but I'm scared of the "electric shocks" people talk about form mixing Effexor and Weed.

Thank you in advanced.

I dont think Citalopram would work for this instantly (somebody please correct me if im wrong) He also said that he wanted something that he can buy from a 'store'.

Most of the drugs i can think that may help your problem are all illegal or prescription only.

Yeah, it sucks. I have some Codeine but not enough, I have WAY too high of a tolerance for opiates. 60mg Codeine wouldn't do anything.

There are condoms and lubricants with a small percentage of lidocaine or benzocaine that (for lack of a better explanation) numb your package. In addition to the loss of sensation that condoms give that should be enough for most people. These are OTC as far as I know.

Dopaminergic/noradrenergic stimulants can help too. Amphetamines, small doses of yohimbine, ephedrine will all mess with sexual performance, if you have any laying around.

The standard treatment seems to be SSRIs, condoms, and/or practice.

Another big thing that will help you with this problem is not worrying about it so much, the more pressure you put on yourself to find a drug to help with the problem, then when the time comes you are going to be thinking about that and hoping that it works which could produce results that you don't want. I know it is easier said than done, but the worrying about it before is often a massive factor in the problem, so if you try not to worry about it as much then it should be better.

That is good advice, I would try this out if I were you. Resorting to OTC meds or SSRIs to try and solve the problem is not the way to go in my opinion. That is just one opinion out of many though.

masturbate 2 times before you go to the party, and just go slow and stop whenever you are on the verge of ejaculating.. the girl won't mind if you stop once in a while so long as you keep going.

Viagra (sildanafil citrate) tends to work well for me. Even if you do come you're good to go again in less time than usual.

Otherwise, I have access to lidocaine for dental usage... Although i wouldn't try that...

As above, try a condom (obviously).

Nothing i can think of OTC apart from codeine but you might never make it then. haha.

If the only reason for you to not want to use codeine for this is that 60 mg is too little, look up how to do a cold water extraction and take a higher dosage than that (assuming that you are not an opioid addict, and that some dose of codeine will be sufficient for you.)

Not that this is a good solution, or a solution that it is beneficial to employ with any regularity...but it will work. Your problem is most likely predominantly psychological.

be careful with the SSRI'S, sure it might make you last longer but thats if you can even get it up!

This is espcially true with Zoloft.

SSRIS are the way to go i belive there are lots of sidefects listed for ssris but that dosent mean to say your going to get them. There are just people who have experienced these effects however common or uncommon and they must be stated as a side effect gud luck keep your pecker up bud!! :-)

The OP's party is over, will leave this open to see what he chose and to see if it worked, then will most likely be closing this thread down.

I still think that SSRIs should be avoided at all costs, especially for a problem like this.

GBL/GHB, phenibut, lyrica, all the GABA drugs (except benzos maybe) enhance your sex drive and delay ejaculation.

People are saying Citalopram quite a lot - I'll tell you now Citalopram can be pretty bad for side effects - I was prescribed them a while back by my doctor, and even when I came off them over a 3 months, I was still buzzing at times (not in a nice way!), experiencing disorientation, loss of apetite and disturbed sleeping. That said, when I was on them steadily I drank like a fish and I was absolutely fine. Oh but it does accelerate the effects of alcohol - I found myself falling over after 7 shots and a couple of pints. That's usually only enough to get me mixing up a couple of words every now and then.

Anyways - heads up: if you can use something else, do!
